Nice choices on train lines suprtoe! And especially going to the famous Mineola station to. Probably the most popular station on the LIRR for railfans. Also the double decker train is always an epic win! :)
On the plus side, there are NICE buses at the Mineola Intermodal center. Those being: N22/x N23 N24 And N40/41 The right side is to Jamaica/Jamaica express; as well as to manorhaven. On the left are the buses to Hicksville. The middle is the N40/41 to Freeport LIRR vía Main Street.
DO (G) (A) (M) (E) start at court square and take the (g) to hoyt street to transfer to the (a) train and take that to west 4th street and take the (m) from west 4th to 5th avenue - 53rd street and finally take the (e) from there to court square 23rd! you’ll be back where you started from
Hi there!! Can you please upload a video of the LIRR of train 555, the 4:20pm train from Oyster Bay to Jamaica? Thank you so much and have a wonderful weekend my friend!!
Great to see you back posting, GGST. I rode the LIRR the first time last month when I took the AirTrain from JFK to Jamaica. The whole ticketing thing was confusing. Anyway, I enjoyed the ride on the LIRR. It was a nice way to get to Manhattan. Did you see the sign that the LIRR will eventually go all the way to Grand Central Station. For me, that would be really nice, as I stay closer to GC than to Penn.
Mineola was one of many LIRR stations that were built in that type of colonial barn style. You can also find this design at Huntington, Northport, Bay Shore, Riverhead, and a few others I forgot about. For the record, if you haven't done so already, you should take some stations along the Oyster Bay Branch, Port Jefferson Branch, Ronkonkoma-Greenport Branch, and even the Montauk Branch.
@@MetroMenTransitProductions I never saw those features at Kings Park. Features like this have been such a fixture of LIRR stations, it can often be a surprise about how few of them are actually built this way.
Yes. The (A) train takes you to Nostrand ave where LIRR station is at and east NY is in Broadway junction. You can transfer to (A) (C) & (J) (M) (Z) and (L)
Take the LIRR to woodside 61st, and take the 7 from there to court square, and take the M to 5 av/53rd st, then take the E to Fulton. Then your next adventure awaits from there 😀 *edit* you could also do (C)(A)(F)(E) start at Fulton st and take the c to high st and change for the a, take the A to jay st - metro tech, then change for the F, take a journey to wash sq. Then it’s up to you, take the E to Fulton or WTC and go back to where you started, or take it to port authority / times sq.
If you had taken the Oyster Bay line to the end, you would have passed my old abode,in Locust Valley! The OB,line is one very scenic route, and it's noted for the Oyster Fest,in September,a worthwhile journey in itself! Suffolk County has the Port Jefferson line, the Ronkonkoma line(formerly the Greenport line),and last, but not least,Montauk! That way you get to see both forks, and if you do Port Jefferson, you can use the Ferry to Bridgeport, and return via the New Haven line of the Metro North,to Grand Central! That way you cover Long Island Sound,in a day!
Hi there!! Can you please upload a Long Island Rail Road video of you riding from Oyster Bay to Atlantic Terminal and back? Thanks and have a wonderful weekend my good friend!!
Remember when you were at Atlantic terminal an the conductor said transportation at jmaica is babylon I live in Babylon so can you come I am a big fan!!!
Hey GoGoSupertoe, can you do S Q R D Go from franklin av to prospect park, transfer to the Q and then go to dekalb av to transfer to the R, and then go to 36th street to transfer to the D, and then stop at coney island & stillwell av I usually stop at CI & SW to get to school and I thought it would be nice if you could take it :)
I know our system has its problems in NY wether it be our NYC metro or our harlem, hudson, New Haven (plus CT), or in this case Long island railroad... We need more upbeat people like this to advertise the system and maybe that will get it some honest funding to make it work a bit more up to standard in comparison to others... The first thing I noticed was your upbeat personality on displaying this service in our state of NY
I know I’m annoying. U have to go to Greenport. It’s about3 hour ride from the city. From Penn Station u have to take the Ronkonkoma train all the way to Ronkonkoma than at Ronkonkoma u need to transfer for the Greenport train. I’m telling u after Riverhead it’s beautiful it’s all farms out there.
Bud u don’t want to go to Babylon Station. A lot of homeless people there and u can get robbed. I’m saying this for your own safety and my farther station I ever went to it Greenport on the North Folk and Montauk on the South Folk. From the city it’s like a $24 tick.

Me too when I was at the hospital when I was so sick
Time for the long ride to Montauk;)
Would you be able to take a train from Penn to Ronkonkoma? The Ronkonkoma Line is scenic. Btw at 14:55, that station was Bellerose

Well, as of 2020 Mineola is no longer like that anymore.
@@MetroMenTransitProductions Yeah. Bayside still is though.
Yeah, thankfully. What about Kings Park?
@@DTD110865 or Bridgehampton

Can you take the LIRR from Mineola to Penn Station, then transfer for the A to 181 St, and then walk the George Washington Bridge?
You're cruel. lol
@@orim298s you are cruel :3
Yes. The (A) train takes you to Nostrand ave where LIRR station is at and east NY is in Broadway junction. You can transfer to (A) (C) & (J) (M) (Z) and (L)
Do it from penn station to Babylon using the Babylon branch all the way.
He could shorten that by taking the 11:28 train to Babylon out of Penn Station, it only stops at Jamaica and Freeport.
@@felixjackson534 that’s technically what I mean. I just had no idea what I was saying.
I did the same thing you did but I went to Ronkonkama
Hello Suprtoe, Nice to see you again😀😀😀😀😀
How about the LIRR to Hicksville then take the Ronkonkoma Branch to Greenport.

Hi there!! Can you please upload a Long Island Rail Road video of you riding from Oyster Bay to Atlantic Terminal and back? Thanks and have a wonderful weekend my good friend!!
That train that you watched leave while sitting on the Oyster Bay train across from you on track 7 also went to Mineola.
You gotta be kidding. Between your jumpy video and your cackling delivery, I got vertigo and needed a translator.
I saw a projection that the LIRR Grand Central Station will be open . . . in 2023. Wish it could be sooner.
gogosuprtoe THIS IS AWESOME! LIRR seems great

I have heard that those who have to use it say that it is the Longest Illegitimate RailRoad.

14:44-14:46 slow the video down to.25x the speed to see the city line( a.k.a the cross island parkway.
Nice! I film at Mineola a lot!
My daily commute 2 years ago!
That's bell rose you past by.
It was actually "Bellerose," but yes. Then it was Floral Park.
Yes!! It's a recycling center! You DO NOT want to enter the LIRR at East New York by having to use the underground crosswalk... it's very smelly!!
This is why it's usually cheaper to take the LIRR from Jamaica instead.
Can you send me a Supertoe sticker?
you can do lower back to nyc
All queens trains without leaving queens
Do metro north to Poughkeepsie
