i was meant to see it at Glenealy and Newcastle but while i was waiting for the train at Glenealy, i heard it failed at Greystones but sadly i never saw 074
It's a long shot, but can't the railtours have a diesel at the tail of the train? Or even better yet - build/order an entirely new engine, a battery engine that takes the load off of starting and braking?
Nice sound at3:14, though.
Nice work stevie 131 should be well enough for next month
Damn, i was in Wexford and i missed it!
It seems that every time they head for Rosslare they end up failing. Perhaps they ought to investigate why this might be.
Is this why rail tours in Britain have a diesel idling at the end of the train?
Some of your absolute best shots here! Amazing video!
Thanks, man. I'm glad you enjoyed it 👍

Beautiful stuff. I always enjoy seeing the reactions of random unsuspecting people seeing a steam train fly by.
I saw the train passing Dun Laoghaire and Killiney.
I swear the Sea Breeze is just cursed
Every steam tour on that line ends up failing!
@irishrailtrains honestly I don't know how it's so bad. Maybe they should double head the train next year just in case! 😂😂

@toyotaprius79 loaning an engine is expensive enough, let alone building a new one
