Mistake #6: claiming your daily missions rewards crate. If you claim your daily missions crate when you have 12 free tickets already you will not get those 3 red tickets from the crate. Simply complete your daily missions and let those crates be sent to your inbox at the end of the day. You can claim them when you play tournament and need tickets. Don't worry those crates will not dissapear if you don't claim them!
Nah if i get some tickets it just stacks from 13 to 24 before but after the new update i think they patched it so you can only get 13 and you cannot stack so your info is good but to other players that played 10 or 5 months aho you can stack your tickets so maybe some people (saying to the old players like me) think that you can still stack.
I can proudly say that I have done all the 5 mistakes that you mentioned in my first account 😂. But reason why newbies make these mistakes is becoz they don't know the main goal of the game and do other things untill they realise it. But I have not made any of these mistakes in my current account 🤘 and have planned everything.

For the 1st mistake, I upgraded juggernaut not because I thought I need it but I just wanted to try it and have fun. If you're not having fun in this game, what's the use. Now I'm not blaming you but I started watching your videos 1st and since I saw your videos I thought that panther, guardian and killshot are the best and the rest is just trash and d incomparable to these key mechs. So I only spent on them. Only recently I came to a conclusion that every mech is good in its own way and is not completely bad. So that's why I spent the time on juggy and he has been fun. Overall I want to say yes panther, killshot and guardian are key mechs but always won't be in your favor and other mechs might become your favorite because it is fun to use. Thank you for your time😊😊
SOOOOOOO TRUE! I try to give generally applicable advice for advancement but have also said at various times that you have to play what's right for you. Whether that's for fun or you are just seeing good results. I mean if you hit Godlikes regularly with autocannons who cares what I say! Wreck face with auto cannons and hey while you're at it, make videos on it and show the world how amazing a weapon it can be ;)
It all depends on how you play. The game gives you the three basic mech scout, attacker and tank early on so you can figure out your style. You still need a full hanger and have to be decent with all mechs to win consistent
The big issue with Jugg is that his energy capacity is DREADFUL at the start, and it takes a while to find enough cards to level him up to a decent energy pool and durability, both things he NEEDS as a slow mech that cannot hit-and-run
Im beginner, playd for a few months only, still struggling with what to level first, robot or weopan or pilot and this is what many new players would like to know, would be great to see you make video about it.
I've lost multiple fights now where my teammates brought too few mechs into the battle. I'd rather they bring weak ones than not at all. More targets = They're not all shooting at me.
I dont know how does scape manage doing tutorials and tips if i start doing after a minute i will feel boring , after completing i will be lazy to edit , after editing i feel very lazy even to Upload🤣🤣. But scape has patience and does well , i appreciate it and scape is growing too FAST!! OMG😨
I actually unlocked slot 5 of 625 acoins,thnx for this video now i can start cashing acoins for the rocket mortar 8 cuz i heard that costs something around 700-800 acoins.That first mistake was what I did in my previous acc,now i have a pretty strong hangar of about 625 power at div 8 which is double the power of what used to have in my previous acc ,thanks scape for the advice
I want to ask something, if I'm planning to use Panther and Killshot for all the stages of the game (without buying the fourth spot until late midgame), what would make the best option for the third spot until I buy the fourth one:Juggernaut or Guardian?
Hey Scape, I wanna ask you something very important for me to know right now, Can we unlock the new upcoming special event crates (Disk Launcher Event Crates) with normal Vault keys? Or else we'll need to grind them through completing the tasks in the event? Please don't ignore this, cause if the crates can be opened with special keys, I'll use my normal Vault keys to complete the current vault blitz, or else I'll keep saving them for that event!
Good vid Would've been nice to see this 2 months ago when I started. I'm a ftp player. An no I don't really think I've wasted resources I've gotten the 5th slot open for a new Mech. As I've watched other mentors about the game I've been saving my stash of resources an like you've pointed out, I do open my little box Crates an DO make the small changes that propel your resources giving credits an coins making small upgrades. & as I've progressed, the AI'S are really funny. When there on the Red Team they fight relentlessly. When there on my team they run around in circles an mostly hang back. The Red Teams AI'S go after me like a Shark smelling blood bypassing my AI'S an of course my AI'S don't do jack when That happens. Really PISS'ES me off. Another negative aspect I've found is when coming out of a tunnel or rounding a corner where the enemy is, the AI will fall back or swings wide an I engage the enemy meanwhile that SAME SNEAKY AI will get behind me making a retreat difficult! Sometimes they don't MOVE while they block my path! Yep that's when I'm fuming. I thought back then that they were fellow players behaving badly. depends on what you need. Racks are all-or-nothing, meaning you have to hold your fire until it really matters... enemies with 1 health left? A foe that could hide behind cover mid-salvo? A killdhot or lancer with their abilities available to evade the shots? These are enemies you may NOT want to shoot at at all with racks as you will flat out waste most if not all your clip and be forces into that painfully long reload. Pulses are the exact opposite. Low burst damage but you do NOT care if you wasted a few shots, thanks to both a short reload (shortest in the game) and huge magazines. So it comes to that.. do you want a burst or sustained damage weapon? Something that you can unleash before taking cover, or something to pressure the enemy in their own cover and punish them after making their guns reload? It also depends on your mech (tanky ones and disablers have more interest in pulses since they have the means to stay in an enemy's face for a long time) Also, pulses need more investment; racks are at a higher upgrade straight out of the box.; if that bothers you, you could try waiting for the carbine 8 instead of pulses (which are pretty close in how they work and have a very high upgrade level right at the start)
I just wanna ask, is it possible for me to have similar robots on different slots? Like, for example, now I have 4 slots and I want to have 2 Juggernauts ans 2 lancers in my hanger?
Well... First mistake: yes Second one: yes (But I play a lot each day, and rarely i end up missing crates, so it's probably fine. I'll try to fix that tho) Third one: I didn't even know the shop was a thing until like, Division 6 or 7. And I only started buying everything (Except for some common blueprints) in Division 5 (I'm in Division 4 right now) Fourth one: Nope. I did know that I wasn't going to get a Fifth mech anytime soon, so I chose to stick with Paragon (Rank 2, Javelin Rack 6), Lancer (Rank 2, Plasma Cannon 2 and Javelin Rack 4), Juggernaut (Shotgun 2) and Killshot (Rank 2, Pulse Cannon 4). Fifth one: I think I did, but I'm not too sure. I do know I recently stopped upgrading stuff like the RPG's and thr Autocannons tho.)
Very good video and will definitely educate new players to the game these definitely another thing is getting overwhelmed on upgrading all robots and weapons in one go instead of upgrading in stages
Definitely, besides the first and biggest mistake, I did everything on this list. As I still considered a new player (below 20k exp). I bought the fifth slot (although still used it sometimes because I suck at certain maps), never saved a single crate, never by the freebies (although this one is fine since still saving up for MR 8) and haven't link up to the Facebook account (linked to google but I need those free acoins). Also comments are good for the RUclips algorithm so here am I doing my duty.
Basicly every gem spending ( in this case A coins ) is a newcommers trap in every game aswell as the upgrading system before having indept knowledge/having found your olay style is another every game trap so you hit the nail on its head
Of course! I also shouldve said at the end that none of these mistakes are impossible to deal with. You can correct any one of them so its not a big loss to any account. So even if you make them - don't worry too much about it. Just fix it and move on :)
Both are good, but depends on where you are in the game. Early/mid game is ideal for javelins and come in pairs, but will have less uses late game. Late game RM12 is very good, but you will need to work at it to get the dual copies. The other RM variants (8 and 10) arent quite as used or as good.
I unlocked all my slots in the first 3 days. It's good to have backup mechs and weapons. But remember, you should know how to use those to your advantage. Or you will have to upgrade mechs and weapons that are uneffective.
as for my mistake, I upgrade weapons I don't even use in early game but what I should have done is upgrade 3 weapons to lvl 7 then wait for the demolition quest that gives 300 A-coins before ranking those weapons up to get that A- coin reward
I haven’t paid much in this game honestly. I’ve been playing since early beta so I got the majority of my mechs and weapons in crates for free. I did buy redox to be able to review it early, but that’s it.
yes the max you can hold of free tickets is 12, but there are 2 kinds of tickets. the regular tickets (which you can stock 12 of max) and the gold tickets. Gold tickets can be bought with acoins and never go away from your inventory until you use them. This is usually how people make such high scores in tourney on the weekend. They buy these gold tickets after their regular tickets run out so they can keep playing.
@@scape211 ah, much appreciated for the rapid response time, I have been playing about 2 weeks now give or take, and I am enjoying the game, even if there is quite alot needed to pay to get anywhere.
@@scape211 definitely noticing a serious lack of credits though, just never seem to have enough to buy the stuff when it unlocks, also I have not noticed anything like only being able to get ONE of a weapon or something, maybe that only comes up in later gear, or it has been changed.....
@@dragonrage500 weapon of 10 energy or higher only come as a single when you get them. But once they are 6 stars you get the second copy. As for credits, yea its been tougher to amass them. Ever since pilots came, its been tougher as you have more things to buy and are spread thin. They try to supplement this with the battle pass, but that of course costs money so if you don't buy that (and I don't) you will consistently feel a lack of credits. I feel your pain too.
@@scape211 i did to get that 500,000 credits, but i know its gonna be gone the second it opens really, just dunno if i should wait or try unlocking some of the stuff i have access to now, not sure how far 500k can push me if i wait to unlock something better.
I came in through a sponsorship deal - 50,000 credits, 500 acoins, and steel reaper skin for the juggie. (I also came right after arachnos dropped.) I feel EVERYTHING and have done EVERYTHING Wrong in this video and deeply regret it. Luckily, I found you! Now I’m saving for missile 8 and javelin 6… would’ve liked it sooner… (I got to degree 5 without panther!)
Paragon at rank 3 with shotgun 8, carbine 8, or jav 8, is deadly. Fast overall, can reach insane speed with ability and sprint, 16 energy, and good overall hp
How are you supposed to get the higher their weapons when you don't get lots of credits or A-coins. I don't want to have to spend real money on the game to progress.
Can you do "Ares , is it good ?" I am saving for zephyr who costs 310k credits or I can just go for ares , it is kinda confusing , "zephyr is it good ?" Will help too :D
Alright I'll spare you the time. The best Mechs are in no specific order, is: Brickhouse, Zephyr, Guardian, Killshot and panther. These are the most powerful Mechs in the arena
Zephyr's a specialty bot that needs cover, Aries you'll probably use more as it can take a beating better depending on your play style...mine's surviving to kill more mechs😁
Pulse 8's, that's it...skip plasma, rpg4, mr6 (save for mr8's), you can use tl4/6 to give la8's power of la10 at least early to mid game, use tl's with rpg's to increase damage.
The slots thingy it doesn't mean your 2or3 mechs can handle real players in cpc you (NEED) any mech you get to win and there's a chance that you can rage quit cuz you get spawn killed
Yes. Select the Mech you want to change and then select the Mech Chassis above the two weapon slots. Then scroll through the other Mech chassis’s and select the one you want and hit “equip”. You can also completely empty a mech slot in your hangar by hitting “unequip”. (If you wanted to do a solo mech challenge or something)
I get that alot of people use javelin racks on killshot, maily because of the around corners attacks... yet theres no acheivment so, 300hrs later playing killshot, achivements go no where. Also can tornaments be a varient of control point and 5v5's i really want that!
I would love that too! Would be interesting to see for sure. As for killshot in javs I can understand. It does seem odd that its not part of achievements and it definitely goes against his more aggressive nature/design. But it is a very strong early/mid and sometimes even later build.
i think the weapon master achievements are a way for the devs to try to inject more variety in playstyles of mechs. killshot/jav6 is such a dominant combo already that it wouldn't make sense to include it as an achievement. but longshots on a panther, while still common, forces players to work on their aiming (i am horrible with them) which will eventually help with railguns.
I have a question, I started mech arena recently and now I'm around 13 600 xp. I'm close to unlocking the rocket mortar 12. Should I go for it or save up for the carbine 8s ???
Buy if there's mech that can hold both side like rocker mortar 8 you use it on mech that have 16 power. Rocket mortar 16 use only get to use single side not worth it.

do a shadow gameplay video. its a quick mech but it gets very little exposure. i think it has potential especially with a backlane heavy damager but again there's very little strategy that takes advantage of the shadow's nimbleness amd stealth ability
I do eventually plan to do the usual videos like an Is It Good (a new one) and a Best Loadouts. However, I still gotta work on my shadow so it will be a little bit before I do.

Can anyone tell me how I can tell if a "player" is a bot or an actual human? Is there like a visual cue that tells you that a player is actually a bot?
The symbol looks like a couple of papers with diagonal blue lines. When you open crates or claim your daily login reward you are often getting blueprints. You’ll see a pic of the Mech or when pop up and in the corner you’ll see the blueprint symbol with +1 or whatever number. You need a certain amount of these to be able to upgrade. The amount you need gets higher and higher every upgrade.
Juggy is great but can take a lot of resources to invest in early on. And while you do that, other mechs and weapons can pass you by and you can fall behind. However, he is awesome and I still consider him one of the best tanks in the game.
the two biggest mistakes I see is one using lancer as your first mech out. I personally don't even use lancer at all. the other is using md and going off solo.
Lancer isnt the worst for early game when you first start. If you don't have killshot yet, he's one of your fastest. I still like Paragon first early game as he has more energy, but lancer is fine too. But yea MD solo is not the greatest idea
@@drixom9805 Yea thats kind of under the same blanket where people upgrade stuff they dont really need. But still true. Without knowing any better its easy to focus on things that seem good at first but arent as good long term.
now that custom matches are available, lancer is the best mech to use to explore all the nooks and crannies of each map. i spent a non.tourney monday doing run after run of each cpc and 5x5 and 2x2 map with a single AI opponent. but using them in a real match is a stretch lol.
mistake #5 i also did this lol i had 2 of my favorite mechs and forgot to link up to something so when i logged out to make a new account i forgot my password and lost all my stuf😭😭😭
Agreed. This is one I tell most people to skip. I completed one of them since I had upgrades I was doing with the compensation, but I passed on the other one. It's not worth it to spend potentially far more than the 300 acoin reward unless you already planned to upgrade or can do it super cheap with 1 star stuff.
You might want to check someone else channel for that then haha. I tend to focus on helpful news, tips, and guides for people. I do have some high-level play here and there and I definitely play with some other high-level players, but I mainly try to provide helpful stuff for the community. What kind of stuff do you want for pro gameplay?
That can be tricky. The idea is to send the link to a friend and have them download the game on a device that has never downloaded Mech arena before by following your referral link. (However, often the referral links don’t work properly on some devices.) Then that person has to play the game up to set points allowing you to earn a-coins.

In that free crate area, stock up on killshot, panther and guardian...particularly the first 2 I mentioned...guardian is the "cheapest" of the 3.

As I've watched other mentors about the game I've been saving my stash of resources an like you've pointed out, I do open my little box Crates an DO make the small changes that propel your resources giving credits an coins making small upgrades. & as I've progressed, the AI'S are really funny. When there on the Red Team they fight relentlessly. When there on my team they run around in circles an mostly hang back. The Red Teams AI'S go after me like a Shark smelling blood bypassing my AI'S an of course my AI'S don't do jack when That happens. Really PISS'ES me off. Another negative aspect I've found is when coming out of a tunnel or rounding a corner where the enemy is, the AI will fall back or swings wide an I engage the enemy meanwhile that SAME SNEAKY AI will get behind me making a retreat difficult! Sometimes they don't MOVE while they block my path! Yep that's when I'm fuming. I thought back then that they were fellow players behaving badly. depends on what you need. Racks are all-or-nothing, meaning you have to hold your fire until it really matters... enemies with 1 health left? A foe that could hide behind cover mid-salvo? A killdhot or lancer with their abilities available to evade the shots? These are enemies you may NOT want to shoot at at all with racks as you will flat out waste most if not all your clip and be forces into that painfully long reload.
Pulses are the exact opposite. Low burst damage but you do NOT care if you wasted a few shots, thanks to both a short reload (shortest in the game) and huge magazines.
So it comes to that.. do you want a burst or sustained damage weapon? Something that you can unleash before taking cover, or something to pressure the enemy in their own cover and punish them after making their guns reload? It also depends on your mech (tanky ones and disablers have more interest in pulses since they have the means to stay in an enemy's face for a long time)
Also, pulses need more investment; racks are at a higher upgrade straight out of the box.; if that bothers you, you could try waiting for the carbine 8 instead of pulses (which are pretty close in how they work and have a very high upgrade level right at the start)
I just wanna ask, is it possible for me to have similar robots on different slots? Like, for example, now I have 4 slots and I want to have 2 Juggernauts ans 2 lancers in my hanger?
Right now, no. It used to be possible to have dual copies of mechs but from my understanding, that was removed.

First mistake: yes
Second one: yes (But I play a lot each day, and rarely i end up missing crates, so it's probably fine. I'll try to fix that tho)
Third one: I didn't even know the shop was a thing until like, Division 6 or 7. And I only started buying everything (Except for some common blueprints) in Division 5 (I'm in Division 4 right now)
Fourth one: Nope. I did know that I wasn't going to get a Fifth mech anytime soon, so I chose to stick with Paragon (Rank 2, Javelin Rack 6), Lancer (Rank 2, Plasma Cannon 2 and Javelin Rack 4), Juggernaut (Shotgun 2) and Killshot (Rank 2, Pulse Cannon 4).
Fifth one: I think I did, but I'm not too sure. I do know I recently stopped upgrading stuff like the RPG's and thr Autocannons tho.)
Very good video and will definitely educate new players to the game these definitely another thing is getting overwhelmed on upgrading all robots and weapons in one go instead of upgrading in stages
Definitely, besides the first and biggest mistake, I did everything on this list. As I still considered a new player (below 20k exp). I bought the fifth slot (although still used it sometimes because I suck at certain maps), never saved a single crate, never by the freebies (although this one is fine since still saving up for MR 8) and haven't link up to the Facebook account (linked to google but I need those free acoins).
Also comments are good for the RUclips algorithm so here am I doing my duty.

Basicly every gem spending ( in this case A coins ) is a newcommers trap in every game aswell as the upgrading system before having indept knowledge/having found your olay style is another every game trap so you hit the nail on its head

Of course! I also shouldve said at the end that none of these mistakes are impossible to deal with. You can correct any one of them so its not a big loss to any account. So even if you make them - don't worry too much about it. Just fix it and move on :)

Which should I buy javelin rack 6 or rocket mortar 12 🤔
Both are good, but depends on where you are in the game. Early/mid game is ideal for javelins and come in pairs, but will have less uses late game. Late game RM12 is very good, but you will need to work at it to get the dual copies. The other RM variants (8 and 10) arent quite as used or as good.
I unlocked all my slots in the first 3 days. It's good to have backup mechs and weapons. But remember, you should know how to use those to your advantage. Or you will have to upgrade mechs and weapons that are uneffective.
Is it true that a pulse cannon 8 and Lancer 6 is better than 2 pulse 8's?

as for my mistake, I upgrade weapons I don't even use in early game but what I should have done is upgrade 3 weapons to lvl 7 then wait for the demolition quest that gives 300 A-coins before ranking those weapons up to get that A- coin reward

I haven’t paid much in this game honestly. I’ve been playing since early beta so I got the majority of my mechs and weapons in crates for free. I did buy redox to be able to review it early, but that’s it.

ok so how do you have so many tourny tickets? I might be miss reading but I am seeing 3 digits, and I thought the tourny only let you stock 12 max?
yes the max you can hold of free tickets is 12, but there are 2 kinds of tickets. the regular tickets (which you can stock 12 of max) and the gold tickets. Gold tickets can be bought with acoins and never go away from your inventory until you use them. This is usually how people make such high scores in tourney on the weekend. They buy these gold tickets after their regular tickets run out so they can keep playing.

@@scape211 definitely noticing a serious lack of credits though, just never seem to have enough to buy the stuff when it unlocks, also I have not noticed anything like only being able to get ONE of a weapon or something, maybe that only comes up in later gear, or it has been changed.....
@@dragonrage500 weapon of 10 energy or higher only come as a single when you get them. But once they are 6 stars you get the second copy.
As for credits, yea its been tougher to amass them. Ever since pilots came, its been tougher as you have more things to buy and are spread thin. They try to supplement this with the battle pass, but that of course costs money so if you don't buy that (and I don't) you will consistently feel a lack of credits. I feel your pain too.
@@scape211 i did to get that 500,000 credits, but i know its gonna be gone the second it opens really, just dunno if i should wait or try unlocking some of the stuff i have access to now, not sure how far 500k can push me if i wait to unlock something better.

How are you supposed to get the higher their weapons when you don't get lots of credits or A-coins. I don't want to have to spend real money on the game to progress.

Alright I'll spare you the time. The best Mechs are in no specific order, is: Brickhouse, Zephyr, Guardian, Killshot and panther. These are the most powerful Mechs in the arena

Pulse 8's, that's it...skip plasma, rpg4, mr6 (save for mr8's), you can use tl4/6 to give la8's power of la10 at least early to mid game, use tl's with rpg's to increase damage.

The slots thingy it doesn't mean your 2or3 mechs can handle real players in cpc you (NEED) any mech you get to win and there's a chance that you can rage quit cuz you get spawn killed
Can i switch the mech's in the hangar and how?
Yes. Select the Mech you want to change and then select the Mech Chassis above the two weapon slots. Then scroll through the other Mech chassis’s and select the one you want and hit “equip”. You can also completely empty a mech slot in your hangar by hitting “unequip”. (If you wanted to do a solo mech challenge or something)

I get that alot of people use javelin racks on killshot, maily because of the around corners attacks... yet theres no acheivment so, 300hrs later playing killshot, achivements go no where. Also can tornaments be a varient of control point and 5v5's i really want that!
I would love that too! Would be interesting to see for sure. As for killshot in javs I can understand. It does seem odd that its not part of achievements and it definitely goes against his more aggressive nature/design. But it is a very strong early/mid and sometimes even later build.

I see a killshot, I always assume it has those goddamn javelins to annoy me, and that rush to run and hide XP
i think the weapon master achievements are a way for the devs to try to inject more variety in playstyles of mechs. killshot/jav6 is such a dominant combo already that it wouldn't make sense to include it as an achievement. but longshots on a panther, while still common, forces players to work on their aiming (i am horrible with them) which will eventually help with railguns.

Buy if there's mech that can hold both side like rocker mortar 8 you use it on mech that have 16 power. Rocket mortar 16 use only get to use single side not worth it.

I leveled auto cannon 2 4 to star 2 for juggernaut since i was using others on other mechs and rpg 4 and 2 would be out of ammo quick if facing tanks

do a shadow gameplay video. its a quick mech but it gets very little exposure. i think it has potential especially with a backlane heavy damager but again there's very little strategy that takes advantage of the shadow's nimbleness amd stealth ability
I do eventually plan to do the usual videos like an Is It Good (a new one) and a Best Loadouts. However, I still gotta work on my shadow so it will be a little bit before I do.

It's necessary for weapons and mechs upgrade
The symbol looks like a couple of papers with diagonal blue lines. When you open crates or claim your daily login reward you are often getting blueprints. You’ll see a pic of the Mech or when pop up and in the corner you’ll see the blueprint symbol with +1 or whatever number. You need a certain amount of these to be able to upgrade. The amount you need gets higher and higher every upgrade.

Juggy is great but can take a lot of resources to invest in early on. And while you do that, other mechs and weapons can pass you by and you can fall behind. However, he is awesome and I still consider him one of the best tanks in the game.
the two biggest mistakes I see is one using lancer as your first mech out. I personally don't even use lancer at all. the other is using md and going off solo.
Lancer isnt the worst for early game when you first start. If you don't have killshot yet, he's one of your fastest. I still like Paragon first early game as he has more energy, but lancer is fine too. But yea MD solo is not the greatest idea

now that custom matches are available, lancer is the best mech to use to explore all the nooks and crannies of each map. i spent a non.tourney monday doing run after run of each cpc and 5x5 and 2x2 map with a single AI opponent. but using them in a real match is a stretch lol.

Agreed. This is one I tell most people to skip. I completed one of them since I had upgrades I was doing with the compensation, but I passed on the other one. It's not worth it to spend potentially far more than the 300 acoin reward unless you already planned to upgrade or can do it super cheap with 1 star stuff.

That can be tricky. The idea is to send the link to a friend and have them download the game on a device that has never downloaded Mech arena before by following your referral link. (However, often the referral links don’t work properly on some devices.) Then that person has to play the game up to set points allowing you to earn a-coins.
