You can ask your Loctician to do a 2 point rotation to give you a thicker loc after interlocking. Good luck!

Hey sis. You hair looks good! I’m not a pro but I watch loads of info on locs. Tbh I think palm rolled retightening is the best way to go. Coils allow your strands to just naturally twirl into their own locs. If you interlock there is just so much excess manipulation and your hair isn’t locing organically anymore. Hair will lock. Everybody has different dna + different hair. The process is different for everybody. It might take a longer than expected. But I can only imagine once you start interlocking and doing that extra level of maintenance, your hair will will be trained to require that maintenance. Whereas coils Will just slowly follow themselves. Ya know?

Hey!! Thank you for this! I need all the advice I can get cause I'm definitely still new at this. But I agree, this process could just be taking a bit longer for me. Great advice

The mane!! Its looking so good!
Loose/Loc/Twist lol exactly how my hair is right now also . Interesting thought on interlocking, same fear of it not locking at the root .
I trimmed at installation, thats it.
