society likes to make us feel as though we are incomplete and are constantly at search for something to either save us from ourselves or escape and run away from what’s within. however i’m here to tell you, my friend, that all the answers you seek externally are shown within. believe, trust, love, and care for yourself for that will guide you to really understanding the universe.. for it’s within you. you are the divine. anything or anyone that says otherwise has strayed far from this truth. don’t abuse your power however learn to build and grown with it. you are powerful and the creator of all things pertaining to YOU! so love be love and see love bc it surrounds us even amidst all the chaos. don’t let the evil consume you. for you are light

i keep slipping up by telling myself to do more on the outside when really the work should be done on the inside. I did active imagination today, i wonder if you have heard of it, and spoke to my inner child, and literally started to cry. That child wants to be free and not chained to the ego. All the best!

Yoooo when you said closet retracted in your own peace (assuming it's like the lights might have been off) it's like sensory deprivation, which is what the Buddhists call I think "pratyahara" which is one of the most important ways to discover "turiya" or "the true self", and discovery of the true self is enlightenment according to Buddhism.
