Not easy, thank you for sharing your story, I hope you get the DBS. It took me back to year 2000 when my daughter had it fitted. The youngest in the world and the only child in the UK to have it fitted at almost 7years. She quite literally paved the way for DBS. All the best.

It’s a pity about the tedious music repeated in each episode. However, love the videos Jo. They have given me hope and inspiration in bundles: I go for my DBS in September and your videos have been informative and very reassuring. Thank you very much, Mark.

Watching this because my specialist is saying I have this, but to be honest I am not sure about that. I want to be certain because all my symptoms don’t match, just some do. I am asking Newcastle genetics first see what they think. I need more info, before taking meds.

My own DBS journey starts in September🤞 at Salford Royal. I have full body tremor and it can go on for days at a time. The first time it happened I tried a double dose of Madopar. My tremor didn't stop I just didn't care anymore. You are brave for being so open about this, many can't be so. I shall be following your story with great interest. All the best, take care.

Are they looking for natural Levadopa leval. Does lack of it mean that you are more suitable for DBS?
