Man you and your channel are killing it. I hope to get with you on another ride this year. I’m rewatching your TAT vids for tips for my 2024 TAT ride. I promoted your channel hard on my cold start video because I want people to know about adventure riding and Moto Mission is educational as well as entertaining.

Another great video! Cool you got to meet and ride with Joe, and surfing in Colorado is amazing!!!!
I was shocked. Surfing?! What! And yes. Joe is the best
Fun video as always!! You must have filmed this in the summer. It says you uploaded it 7 hrs ago as I'm sitting watching and Middle Tennessee is getting covered in snow. hahaha
Glad you enjoyed it! This one especially great for me. Meeting joe was great
Stopped by from Joe's channel and glad I did! What a time it looked like you boys had! Last summer, we hauled our bikes out to my buddy's place in Fairfield Idaho at the base of the Sawtooths all the way from Upstate SC. We scooped him and his boy up and headed into the hills. He has a family mining claim up there and man was it something to see. Some of the roughest single track we had ever rode. We hung out with him for a week and then turned solo north all the way to Wallace on dirt. On our way back south, we camped at Dworshak Res and just missed Joe by one day! I was watching his videos and he was in the area just one day before us. Pretty cool. We had an absolute blast and have tons of stories to tell for years to come! Subscribed!
Huge thanks. Glad you came over to my channel for a look. Idaho is amazing. I plan to go this summer
Stay in touch.
@@MotoMission. will do!!! Holler at me, we did sort of our own route and found some fantastic stuff! Don't mind sharing some of the route
Sweet.
Nice video again bro, sniffing a nice part of your country again. Keep up the beautiful camera work👍🏻. Your Dutch fan😉
Haha. Yesssss. Thank you my Dutch friend
Great video as always!
Glad you enjoyed! It’s a special one for me. Meeting joe was amazing
I watch both channels (I'm an old guy on a DR, too), and it was strange to see you both in the same video. The pit bull question is a fine dad joke I plan on using.
Haha. That’s so great. Yeah joe is awesome.
Be careful. Pit bulls everywhere
Joe also have RUclips channel "JR Depew". Nice to see him here!
I linked to him in my description. Thanks for pointing that out.
Joe is an amazing dude. Friends for life now. Such a good dude. And he has a great channel

So glad to hear that Steve.
Awesome 👌 Let's ride
That’s right
Cool tou met Joe! Great dude!
Yes it was! He’s great
Been following both of you. N’joy your content. Brock, I thought all the pit bulls were suddenly extinct…you haven’t seen one for a while…glad they are still out there!
I was noticing that. They seem to be gone lately. My pit bull repellent must be working
I REALLY need to get up to Colorado!! Pretty cool that you were able to meet up with Joe! Really like both of your channels! Looking forward to making one or both of your Colorado rides this year!
Come ride with us
Welcome to my neighborhood!
I like your hood!
I love Steamboat Springs. Great steak house…8th Street Steakhouse. Also fun mountain biking down the ski slope.
I need to go back and spend more time I like steak !
I hiked the Colorado Trail in September 2023 and the locals told me it is Saliiiida. Buena Vista is pronounced Buuuna Vista.
Someday I hope to hike and then ride the CDT!
I just found your channel with this video and I am your latest subscriber.
Ride on!
Hey hey ! You hiked the Colorado trail?! Wow. Epic.
Great to have you here on the channel. We like to have fun over here. Welcome aboard.
Thanks to Joe, I found your channel.
Welcome! Joe is the best
So glad you and Joe met. I have been following his channel on his DR650. Great video and riding
Awesome! Thank you! We have some fun videos coming to you every week.
And yes joe is the best
I just recently discovered your channel while researching for my TAT ride from North Carolina to Oregon that starts June 9th.
I watched all the TAT videos you created. I have a Yamaha Tenere 700 and a BMW GSA. I’m an experienced rider and am trying to decide if I can ride the TAT with the big GS like David did in many of the videos. I will be with a group of other riders to assist each other. The GS would be much more comfortable for most of the trip especially slabbing it back home to GA. I appreciate your guidance. God bless my friend keep up the moto mission!
Hey. So glad to hear you are planning a tat adventure. It’s the best!
You have a very good question. And I have thought about this a lot.
Slabbing it home is best in your gsa. Riding the tat is best in the t7.
That is the quick and complicated answer.
There are sections of the tat that are gonna be dificult in a big bike. Some mud in Mississippi and Arkansas
Some sand in areas like Oklahoma and Utah and Nevada
Some rocky and steep mountain passes in Colorado. All of these can be doable in a gsa. But it depends on skill level.
If you need to skip a section going west to avoid riding over your head then do that.
I’m partial to the t7 for the fun factor and it’s easier to ride in the gnarly stuff. But I love a BMW on hwy
Did I help you answer the question? Or just confuse you more ? Haha.
One other option.
You can ship a bike home for $600
Thanks for the advice Brock. Having your input is greatly appreciated because you’ve been there and done that! I am confidently confused about which bike I will ride. 😜
I too am leaning toward the T7 and shipping it home afterwards. Keep up the mission of sharing Christ my friend. God bless..
You can’t go wrong on the t7
Make sure you get the most aggressive knobby dirt tires. Don’t trust the 50/50 tires. No regrets by using a real knobby. Keeps you sane in that sand and mud.
And if they wear out just replace them. Lemme know how it goes
Thanks Brock. Do you consider the Dunlop D606 a good knobby for the T7 or something else even more aggressive and off-road oriented? I definitely plan to replace tires once or even twice as needed.
That’s a great choice
Awesome video. I just found your channel and subscribed.
Hey hey. Welcome to my little moto community Where are you from ?
What bike do you ride ?
@@MotoMission. Spokane, WA
I have a barely ridden T7 and KTM 450 EXC-F, and 22 year old DRZ 400S that I've had since 2006
Very cool. Hope to cross paths
Man... I rode this same exact track two years ago except I rode it going up hill. It was one of the most challenging routes I've ever done. Did you eat the elk burger at Sargent's??
Pretty excellent burger !
Uphill would be fun. Did you enjoy it ? Was it sketchy ?
Brock I have a question about the KTM, are you happy overall with the 890r? I'm looking to get back into riding again because of all your videos. Years ago I was heavy into racing Hair Scrambles. Thank you for sparking interest in riding again.
I follow you and enjoy all of your videos. Keep up the good work!!
Hey. I have loved my 890 r. If you want a performance motorcycle it will be hard to beat the 890
Email me and I can give you some more insight on that bike. Brock@motomission.com
Question Brock. Do you and your wife attend church while on the road? And, if you ever get through NE Oklahoma I would like to invite you both to join my wife and I to worship at our (actually God’s) church. Since my buddy shared your channel with me a couple of months ago I have been binge watching and enjoying your videos. It is refreshing to see a man of God producing content that is both wholesome and entertaining. Keep up the good work.
Hey hey. That’s awesome. Yes. I would love to meet ya when we roll thru NE OK. Thanks for watching the channel. That means a lot. Hope to see ya out there
Come do the NEBDR in the summer 🤙🏼
Hmmmmm. Maybe in fall when leaves are changing. ?
@@MotoMission. that would be a great time to go! I live right on the route in section 4 in southern VT. Beautiful area for sure
You are lucky !
@@MotoMission. if you make it out this way don’t forget about me!
Yeahhhh. Send me an email
What brand of motorcycle carrier do you have on the back of your vehicle?
I believe it’s called versa haul
I was missing the pit bulls Brock.....😁😁
I’ve been trying to avoid them. But I think there may be some encounters in the next vid. :)
@@MotoMission. I've spotted lots of them here in Ireland since You were here....😁😁
Haha
I’m missing Ireland
@@MotoMission.Not an evening for The Wild Atlantic Way here this evening, heavy rain and Force 10 gusting Force 11 winds forecast for later tonight.
Beautiful lady minute 8!!!
Haha. Yessss
Ask locals how to pronounce Buena Vista (up the road 30 mins) :) :)
Yeah. I think they are messing with me. Buuuuna vista.
I was saying bwayna vista like with a Spanish accent.
I’m so confused
They completely pulled your leg on the pronunciation of Salida and the Arkansas river. Haha. Probably because you keep saying Colorada.
Haha. I love it
The locals were just messing with you.
That’s how I prefer it. :)
Haha
Hope you are well.
