The punching the air actually helps you keep the tempo and rhythm that's honestly why I've always liked "Hail to Victor's" especially when you use both hands (right-left or left-right depending on your dominate hand)
Couple of opinions as a Clemson fan: 1.) This is the greatest fight song in college football (that’s actually not an opinion, it’s a fact) 2.) The Big House is not a loud stadium. 85,000 fans in Death Valley sound louder than 100k + in the Big House. I think this is due to the shape of the stadium ... but I was surprised lack of intensity when I went there. 3.) College football is better when Michigan plays well. Get it together Michigan. Go Blue!
I, dyed in the BLUE fan, have to agree on all 3 pts, Ross. Even, regrettably #2. I mean, there are 40,000 fans going nuts/being loud at these games, but another 70,000 are sitting on their hands. Some have a feeling of entitlement, I sense, that we should just win and be done with it, and then there are others in the camp I can relate to more, which says the opposite, "What are we entitled to? Our program is legendary, yet we haven't won a Big Ten title in 16 yrs, and our despised rival has pretty much owned us for 18 years." UM fans have been humbled this century- especially during the mostly horrific, at best sad years of Rich Rod and Brady Hoke. But, yeah, 110,000 fans should sound like 110,000 fans nonetheless!
I'm a Notre-dame fan. By default, I hate Michigan, lol. But I love you guys fighting a song more than mine 😢lol. Have a great season, and please beat Ohio State again 👊🏾
As a life long Bama fan whose daughter is a Michigan grad, I agree Michigan has the best fight song. However once the bands leave the field Bama football is far superior. We know how to beat Ohio State. Hoping Michigan will soon do it too. It would make my daughter very happy.

You guys do a "follow the leader" with uneven step-size/timing of the crosses in the 'cursive ohio'. There's photographic evidence that us at Michigan did it first anyway.
