This FLOW-3D HYDRO simulation shows a cross section of the flow down a tailings storage facility (TSF) spillway during a probable maximum flood (PMF), as modeled by MECATER Ingénierie of Tunisia. "We found that CFD modeling was a powerful tool for evaluating the design of our spillway structure.
