    The women’s Long Jump event at Lausanne’s Athletissima kicked-off at 19:25 (local time) on August 26, 2021 at Le Stade Olympique de la Pontaise. The temperature that evening was 19°C (66.2°F).
    The event featured a strong field of eight athletes, seven of them Tokyo 2020 Olympians:
    Nastassia Mironchyk-Ivanova (Belarus); the remaining six were Olympic Finalists: Abigail Irozuru (Great Britain), Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk (Ukraine), Chantel Malone (British Virgin Islands), Jazmin Sawyers (Great Britain), Khaddi Sagnia (Sweden), Ivana Španović (Serbia).
    Final Three Qualifying
    Ivana Španović (Serbia) qualified on her fifth jump, 6.85 meters (wind +2.3 m/s).
    Khaddi Sagnia (Sweden) qualified on her third jump, 6.92 meters (PB), (wind 1.0 m/s).
    Jazmin Sawyers (Great Britain) qualified on her fifth jump, 6.66 meters (wind -0.8 m/s).
    Final Three Results
    Ivana Španović (Serbia), 6.73m (wind +0.8 m/s)
    Khaddi Sagnia (Sweden), 6.64m (wind +1.3 m/s)
    Jazmin Sawyers (Great Britain), 6.43 m (wind +1.5 m/s)
    Based on the Final Three Results the athlete with the longest jump gets her best mark of the evening posted on the Final Results Table, in this case Reigning World Indoor Champion Ivana Španović (Serbia) best mark that evening was of 6.85 meters, that is a decrease in distance of 7.32% with respect to her Personal Best of 7.10 meters (National Record, 2016). The 31 year old Serbian Superstar has been competing at a high level, representing Serbia (Serbia and Montenegro), since she is 15 years old.

    Positive Sign means that Athletes had a Tail Wind (aka Wind Aided).
