what a great little demo. I really enjoy these type of videos. as a beginner in watercolor your head doesn't get too much information at once and you can follow along without rushing. thanks for that little demo. I really enjoyed it.
since it was not from the beginning I assume you put dark blue color first, add yellow and got green. Great...the rest is clear. Great trees, wonderful technique and easy too. Thanks a lot, post more tutorials, you do it so well.
The speckling was created by applying salt at the correct time. You can use Liquid Frisket or Maskoid to speckle the surface also. You then remove it with a rubber cement pickup.
What colors are you using? Great technique. I like the contrast between the white bark of the birch tree and the black accents and branches. Your background looks green, but when you were painting on the background over the masking tape and spots of masking fluid the paint looked like it was black or gray.
The video starts after you have done the trees so it stays white. PLEASE let us know what you did and how. I love the branches, but have no idea how to make the trees to start off with ???
hi, i like your video, i just have a question about what you said you speckled at 0:46. what is it? i could not hear the word. Also, are there other alternatives for creating these white spots/gaps? thanks so much!
