The more TQ talks the more it doesn’t make sense. Again he gave away his artist without getting reimbursed. Sounds like either he wanted to be nice and let Bleu go or he wanted to screw boosie over
From what I gather, the situation is this. Bleu blew up after that Drake feature and had major labels trying to sign him. TQ rushed to negotiate those deals because he wanted to get paid. Boosie for some reason hesitated on signing the deal or perhaps wanted to sign but do so in a way that wouldn’t benefit TQ much. TQ felt that Boosie had shorted him on deals before and wanted to make sure that he got his cut this time around.
At the same time Bleu is trying to get out of his contract with Badazz before he signs a new deal so that his earning aren’t going to two labels. He also feels that Badazz is a bad label because they’re not spending a whole lot of money to promote him or his music. I Bleu doesn’t want to keep paying a label that he feels doesn’t do much for him.
Him and TQ are afraid that if Boosie is heavily involved in the negotiations they won’t get what they want. TQ fears that he won’t get the amount of money that he wants to be paid in the deal. Bleu is afraid that a good part of his residuals are going to still go to Badazz despite them not doing much for his career.
TQ and Bleu thus decide to go ahead with the negotiations without Boosie’s full involvement. TQ signs a deal that allows him to get what he feels he’s owed. Bleu signs a deal that releases him from most of his financial obligations to Badazz. Boosie is now mad though because he believes that the deal was done behind his back and that he didn’t get what he felt he was owed in the negotiations.
