@@io-rj6sk Great question. I had look back at the models and I would say at the Kinvara version 8 and it’s really the curve of the midsole under the arch that got narrower and more curved.
I wonder how Kinvara compares to Altra too. I got Rivera 2 (like) and Torin 7 (don’t like). Maybe I should try these. I’ve got 1 pair of saucony’s and it’s not real love. But that’s Triumph 20, I thought that would be nice for long runs. But they are way too squishy. I do like the upper though.
The lightest 4 drop shoe in size 15 that don't look like clown shoes. I cannot wear anything other than kinvara. 10 years fan. I wish they make 0 drop version
@@stanky757 I went through 4 pairs of the virrata back in my highschool cross country days. Simply the best shoe I can remember and I’m still chasing that high. Altra escalates filled the gap for a while but those have gone downhill.

I fondly remember my first Kinvara in 2010.
Yes, back when the Kiara had a nice and much more stable wide platform. The new ones IMO are way narrow and curved under foot for me.

The virrata was a zero drop kinvara but it didn't sell and never got a V2
