In this video I'll compare Digilent's Pmod NAV to some cheaper Navigation sensor. These sensors have an accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a barometer. Since there is so much to compare and discuss, I picked out some key points that are covered in this video; just to have an overview of what the specs are for these products and whether or not the cheaper version is worth it or not. I hope you enjoyed watching this video! Any feedback is welcome as usual and feel free to correct me if necessary! :)

hey, thank you for the video but comparing the numbers of the datasheet, does not say anything about which one is more accurate. I can provide you a 1024 bit sensor, but 1020 bits of them are useless. (Pratical tests are missing)
My projekt: make a Harry Potter-style wand remote control for the TV. Gesture-based. Might add voice-control to force the kids to learn spells to switch channel :)
Thanks for Watching! Feel free to share your experience with these sensors! I've been using Digilent's Pmod NAV for some time and don't have anything bad to say about (maybe just the price), but I would love to hear your thoughts on the cheaper sensors and the NAV Pmod as well!
I loved your video. I was wondering if you could do a video on pmod tmp3 and how to implement it with fpga/verilog.
Hey Aaron, thanks for the feedback, I’ll look into this, sounds like a good idea!
im gonna use this to make an air data ahrs for my rc planes
I've been thinking about having a blackbox in my car's trunk. Storing acceleration data in order to see how comfortable I'm driving. Would it work with MPU9250?
Sir ...it would be very kind of you if you make a tutorial on interface of motors/sensors with FPGA 🙏
try make a quick wired (or wireless) 2d/3d mouse from accelerometer, no light/laser sensors or ball sensors
I think GY-87 is the cheapest out there
i got mpu9250 only for 3.19 USD
I like how you say without further adue and then jump into the logo screen, literally delaying the information
