I heard about it in Australia about 23 years ago when I was homestaying in Australia. It's a very good song and I bought an album after returning to Japan. I'm no longer in touch with my homestay family, but it's a great memory.
I literally haven't heard this song once on the radio since 1999. Why?! It reached number 5 on the charts in Australia. This song came out when I was in year 12 and brings back memories, I haven't heard it in 20 years until now!
Hi guys singing along with you on 'Wishes' in childhood is what taught me to sing You are marvellous vocalists and a big part of happiness in my youth This track is so well produced, this groove was definitely one of my big thrills of the 90s and early 2000s :)
Right at the start, when he's walking down the street, oh sear does that give me nostalgia for how Sydney used to look! Take a look at those chevrons on the building in the background! The was what the Hoyts cinema used to look like! Since then however the cinema sold off a lot of it's street frontage and merged with the one a few few doors down and that huge entryway is gone, replaced with fashion stores (and a Starbucks, which I don't mind). I have fond memories of Hoyts cinema Sydney and the movies I watched there - Transformers, Neverending Story, and more recently Spirited Away (when I found out the changes I just mentioned).
I used to run or wait crazily to watch this song 😍😍🤩 when it was on VH1 or mtv, now thanks for you tube can watch 24/7 and never get bored of this song 😍😍🌹🥰♥️♥️♥️💖💝
I STILL love this song

Lol!..me too!... the late 90s were awesome!
Reminiscent of "Isn't It Time" by The Babys for me. Chorus sounds similar. This is one of their best tracks.
Scott Brandts well apparently is "Everytime I'm Think Of You" originally
So freaking catchy ❤
Nice looking XW and "convertible" VG valiant. This was before the Melbourne CBD was fucked over by Daniela andrews.
this was filmed in Sydney
Good
Sydney
Sydney and Melbourne
best
Goodbye Kadin xo
Sounds like something George Michael would have sung
Was the street on the beginning either George street or circular quay
George Street opposite the cinema complex. He walks out from the side street to head south on George Street.
And one can see Hoyts cinema, from before they sold their frontage (the cinema is still there, just with a smaller entryway).
Their Jamiroquai era 😅
How come this is different to 1999s?
