I just drove from Milton to Ottawa and the 401 until Scarborough was a white knuckle ride between 11 AM and noon on a Sunday in dummer, I assume in large part due to construction. I don't know how much I'd be willing to pay to avoid that, but it's not as much as what the 407 costs.
Some of these cars on the 400 series highways might be driving schools because the G test requires a G2 license holder to have experience in them or otherwise face cancellation.
though with a g2 license, you can drive on the 400-series by yourself already. It's only with a G1 licence that you have to drive on a 400-series highway with an instructor.
I don't usually travel the 407 that direction past the 400 cut-off and I'm usually driving someone else's car so I'm not paying the tolls so I love the drive too. I really enjoyed the video and thanks for sharing.
maybe, though so far I haven't reused any songs in different videos. I toyed with the idea of re-editing this video and re-uploading (I'm much better at manipulating footage now than I was a year ago), but have never bothered.
I'm probably going to do another 407 video in the westbound direction starting from Taunton next summer. I am going to wait until the new lanes are open through Pickering though before I do it.
Good job asphalt planet 🌎 you make people cheer up☺️

Thanks for your comment. I often use the 407 while driving the company car, which might explain some of my positive review as well :)
Are the roads smooth , here in Alberta it get so cold that it erodes the hwys and their bumpy af
Ontario has lots of bumpy roads too
Mainly side roads :P
I like the last song in the video.
me too. I think it's the best song in the video.
AsphaltPlanet1 Yeah, you should reuse this song in your later video.

Just saw traffic on 407 today East in Markham. It's brutal!
i'd have hated to have paid to sit in that traffic...
Yep. It was a day before Canada's 150 birthday that a massive lengthy traffic jam on the 407 eastbound extends from Woodbine to York-Durham line.
Awesome video my friend! ... I'll have to check out it this summer!
Merci Franks!
Try take toll highways in Orlando or Tampa, the toll roads there are cheap.
My mistake and it's not I-4. It's Florida Route 417 around Orlando and where's the toll road near Tampa?
There are so many controlled access highways around Florida.

Do Highway 407 from Harmony to Taunton/418.
