AWWW this was fun! That one place was intense with the fire collecting, but you did do it! I also liked this game~ Keep on Keeping On, Penge, and thank you so much for doing what you do~!
The stone with the hides to make clothes makes sense. To soften the hides, the women would scrape the back of the hide with sharpened stones (or bone). They used fats, brains, and other fluids (urine was also used) to help soften the hides during the tanning process... depending on the tribe and its resources. Once "tanned" or softened, the hides could be made into clothing. ♥
Oh thank goodness I can have tea again with my videos. I have missed that little pot and cup so much. It feels good to be back... even if I do have a different name. It's still me though. Spirit ham makes sense to me in an odd sort of way. Especially when there are apples involved. Ham and apples are very nice together... especially if they're both cooked. Wild(or any other boar) makes ham. Well... the animal doesn't make the ham... the people does... but you know what I mean. You have a fire... cook that ham and the apples and have a lovely supper. ♥
I loved this game idea the second I saw your title! (Keep us away from ham? Nope....will *not* make a religious joke here!) This game is adorable! Kind of like Stacklands the caveman edition! The game is so primitive, *spacebar is not pause and we have to push a button!* 13:50 I see *UG* but what happened to the other whazhizname...right, *UG?* Hot springs in the "Harsh lands?" (The only thing I noticed you did inefficiently is that exploring unlocks three tiles and you often explored with only two spots open, but understand when have many spinning plates. The rest is RNG. Maybe you needed 5/6 tribesmen in rich lands/beasts to clear out faster for 1 more food/heat cost per person?)
If Stacklands and Dice Tribes Ambitions had a baby. Looks neat! I'll definitely be checking it out. P.S. I do believe those "apples" are actually meat, lol. I mean the picture, specifically; they could still be eating apples!
With that struggle for heat this must be the Frostpunk prequel. Good stuff as always!
Dev here : Thanks for playing it. I am glad you enjoy it.
Beware the spirit ham!

megaloceros is an extinct species of giant deer that were about the same size as moose.

Stacklands was a reference but I did not know about Dice Tribes Ambitions, will check it up
This game looks really fun, I hope you'll do a series on the full game when its released 🙏
Free compensates for spacebar not being pause
reminds me of the boardgame "Paleo" to a degree
It is indeed one of the reference of the game.
I think those are meat "apples."
What's a meat 'apple'?!
@@TheGeekCupboard I think he just meant that the food resource which you refer to as apples, is represented by a stylised steak.
@@mrfomo217 Correct.
@@mrfomo217 food is represented as steak but the card said apple.. so its really a mix of meat and apple at once :D
Oohh I see!
