This will be my only way to follow the Casa de Papel, since I don't have Netflix or TV ha ha. Thanks, Pablo. And the pace is about right for me, I think I understood about 95% what you said in this episode. I never heard the word "palo" meaning "robbery" before.
Realmente he disfrutado esta serie.
I thought the video was on 1.5x speed but then I remembered this is the intermediate playlist 😅. This was much easier to follow after finishing all of the super beginner and beginner video playlists.
Hey Pablo, very good video as well, gave my brain intensive hard work, it's what I need to increase my level. I think if I will watch every day or once in two days a video like this one after 10 vídeos my Spanish will improve a lot, and I will get higher level, I know it, I need this kind of challenge to get to another level, like exchanging audio messages with Spanish speaking mother of my friend get me to another level in a two weeks time.
I just recorded one about the first episode of "Verano Azul". I wonder if they would be popular enough to warrant explaining all the episodes of a show.
¡Hola!
Gracias a ti Pablo.
@@DreamingSpanish I assume this video was not popular enough, so you didn’t record any more. I just binged the entire first season today. Maybe you can only get a few hundred people to watch the first three episodes, but they will be so hooked on the show that at least a few dozen would be willing to pay a few dollars each per episode for you help. I really think there is a business model here for you.
I love money heist. First series in Spanish that I’ve watched. I have a question for you though, why is it that I can watch your intermediate and advanced videos and I am able to understand a majority, but when I’m listening to music or watching a movie/series it is very difficult for me to hear the words. As soon as I put subtitles (in español) on i can hear what they’re saying; but if I take them off it’s very difficult. Is that normal? Thank you Pablo!
It's completely normal. You may not understand because they are speaking more sloppily than me on my videos, but I think a big reason is that they don't say any more words than necessary. In my videos I keep talking about the same topic for a while, so you know more or less what expect. In TV series and movies a new scene may start and all of a sudden you are expected to understand what they are saying with little context. Listening a lot and getting a better understanding for more vocabulary and idiomatic usage will help you understand better and better. Music though is just hard in general. Even in your own language. Lyrics are usually very abstract, and one sentence can be completely disconnected from the previous one. This lack of context makes it inherently hard to understand, no matter what language they're in. Understanding music in my experience is one of the highest levels of language learning.
Pablo, you probably aren't reading the comments on these old videos but you asked for feedback so I'm going to give you some in case you happen to read it. I know you have a lot of guides now but I wish you would do more advanced videos and here's why. Whenever I move to a new level, I'm lost at first. They speak much faster and not as precisely as you so I always watch all of your videos first because your diction is perfect and I can understand everything you say. Then I go to Alma's videos because she is the next easiest. After that, it is usually Augustina but her pronunciation of "ll" and "y" throws me off. Adrea speaks too quickly and the others have poor sound quality so they are difficult.
And another question Pablo, if I want to subscribe for everyday intermediate videos, but haven't dollars, can I pay in euro, how much it'll be and can someone else pay to buy it for me, how it works? And about that videos you have to pay to watch, aren't you cursing all the time there or talking about sex there? I'm asking cause it's not in my interests, this kind of tallks.
Yes, you can pay in any currency. The platform works in dollars though, so the price may be a bit different every month depending on the exchange rate. I don't expect dollars to get more expensive than euros though, so it should stay under 20 euros. I don't curse. The videos are very similar to the intermediate videos here on my channel. I haven't talked about sex yet, but I don't rule out the possibility. You'll get one new video every day though, so if there's one topic you're not interested in you can always skip it.
Sorry I thought that you asked if somebody else bought it. Sure, you can get somebody to sign up on Patreon. That person should message me on Patreon and tell me the email address they want us to send the links to.
About videos for advanced level, it's not really clear what is your idea, why you said three types of videos, what a difference you are trying to make? OK, I'll watch a first video, I didn't watch all, cause found it boring, ha ha ha, it's my main problem in learning languages, I can get bored fast from everything and have to look for another way to learn again and again. Miss impatient as my friend call me :)
Some people said that they would like faster paced videos, with more slang or spoken more sloppily like native speakers normally do, so I came up with a few different videos to test different formats and see what makes sense to do in the future. I may do a combination of the first two formats (the Passwords video and the Meeting Friends video) and leave this format of videos for the intermediate level.
I would love if you could do this for every episode!!!!!
agreed!
This will be my only way to follow the Casa de Papel, since I don't have Netflix or TV ha ha. Thanks, Pablo. And the pace is about right for me, I think I understood about 95% what you said in this episode. I never heard the word "palo" meaning "robbery" before.

Netflix has the audio description as well so it's just me being bombarded with input.

How many hours of dreaming Spanish do you think is needed before you can watch Money Heist in Spanish without subtitles? Thanks Pablo for all you do!
Gracias 🙂

About Netflix and this one month free, Im doubting to sign there, what happen after one month? Won't I charged automatically?
I'm sure right after you sign up you can cancel it and continue using your free month without fear of forgetting and being charged.

And for how long I'll get new videos every day for this money? For one month, or one year time, how long?
You pay per month, and you'll get new videos every day as long as you stay subscribed.
