Infact the shopping shots of Prem Nazir and Latha were filmed at Lucky Plaza in the song Rithulayam whereas some shots of Jayan's song Njan Raja were shot at Plaza Singapura.
Prem Nazir check-in scene was at Singapore Hilton in Orchard Road. That hotel is the present day voco Orchard Singapore. Swimming pool scenes of Jose Prakash were also filmed at the same hotel.

Varnapakittu(1997) was also filmed on Orchard Road. Mohanlal chasing Meena where he was wearing black full sleeves. Few shots also in Vellinila Thullikalo song as you can see Tang's Plaza in the background. It's just infront of ION Orchard.
