Totally understand why Khachanov was not happy at the end, Humbert was very disrespectful and showed bad sportsmanship celebrating every point whilst Khachanov was struggling to even stand up.
How is that relevant? Humbert is celebrating his points won leading to his first ATP1000 final. That’s not his fault if his opponent couldn’t handle it physically, deal with it.
"physical agony" lol give me a break. He had cramps from playing so much in the last 3 weeks. Ugo was high on adrenaline for his first masters1000 final at home no less. It's understandable that he was a bit too hyped and not very self aware in those moments.
Hugo is undoubtedly a very talented player but its shame that only one player payed in the true spirt of the game and it was not Hugo. This is not a hatred comment it is merely stating obvious facts, you do not cheer in an over the top manner when your opponent, who is playing on injured out of respect, losses a point. There was a lot of respect missing that should have been showed towards Karen and the game is bigger than the score. Not a good day for tennis sadly, and those who disagree with this comment clearly do not understand basic etiquette of tennis and are better off watching football.
Good thing Ugo giving it all til the last minute !! Only like this you can reach the top ! If you must finish walking on the court, just quit already This is not Sunday jogging, it's Master 1000 semi-final
I think you are totally right... its especially ironic when you think of how respectfull Karen was himself yesterday while playing a clearly sick Dimitrov... sad that his respect wasnt returned when he was in the same situation

Humbert must to keep humble. There is a final to play against Zverev. I think that Zverev will have a fight mentally against Humbert's attidude and french People. Zverev has advantage physical and Humbert has his public
Humbert is without a doubt the worst sportsman and most classless individual to ever play the game. He celebrates over-the-top after every point when Karen can barely move in the 3rd set and is literally playing on one leg. Karen is down on his knees trying to finish the match out of respect, and Humbert celebrates every point when Karen can't even move? I've never seen anything more unsportsmanlike in this sport ever. Embarassing behavior in a gentleman's sport. What a DISGUTING piece of work Humbert is. Glad Karen told him straight at the handshake.
I used to like Humbert a lot, but man, his cringeworthy on court antics lately made me change my mind. He is obnoxious and unbearable. Has to do with that woman in his box, pretty sure.
@@77kelu Jut facts mate, his behaviour was disgraceful, he may have won the game but certainly lost it any chance of palying it in the right spirit. A very poor example to kids on how to play.
The locker room should make it clear that it's not acceptable, respectful, sportsman behaviour. This is a sport of honour where you should honour your opponent. Humbert is no Roger, Novak or Rafa
Was hoping Khachanovz would win, especially against the unsportsmanlike behaviour of umbert, but, regardless, I think it proves he's returned to good form and if he can recover from this match he could be threat come AO in january

Looking at the comments, you can sense the hate towards Ugo. I don't find him that spoiled. He seems to need that boost more often than some other players. There's obviously a mental game there. And you can misunderstand sometimes that as arrogance, but I don't think he intends to punish or diminish the opponent in value. I find Holger much more spoiled and rude, personally

@@marcelogarcia1 He has every right to celebrate a point but that’s not the issue.
