3:10 - 4 players for Southern Miss were ejected to 1 for Arkansas State. Arkansas State ended up shooting six free throws and making five of them to take a 31-30 lead and went into halftime up 37-34. The weird part is that Arkansas State ended up losing 48-57.
I thought you were talking about her bench teammates. But yeah, the other 4 on the floor should've went in and helped her. But it would've also made it worse.
well it wasn't anything Southern miss did to their player it was their player just being catty & stupid let alone immature. That's no reason to get in trouble or put yourself at risk of suspension or risk of being kicked off the team. Now when you attack one of my players let alone push her into the ground or the team bench affecting other teammates I'm going to respond which obviously several players did & why the ejections were lopsided especially when the Ark st player started throw closed fisted punches let alone knocked down one of our coaches. I think two out of the three fans through went down to help & didn't actually do anything. I'd guess they were connected to the girl who got tied up & pushed to the floor & into a chair & stayed down most of the entire time. One girl did get & yell at the other bench & refs but the other two seemed to just be concerned with I'd guess a friend or family member who was possibly hurt.
I clearly see some of you are just “swift and changeable “ sometimes you gotta hold your teammate down regardless of what the situation … you can’t always be a B**** in every situation in life …

I don’t condone violence. With that being said, as a team our player is on the other teams bench getting squabbles with the entire team. Go get your teammate we will deal with the consequences later.
Wrong. If you know your teammate is a violent hothead, you let them sort out their own mess. She started it, she can finish it. Now if she was being picked on, I'd agree with you, but she wasn't.

So if the fight takes place at the bench and a player gets up and walks on the floor to avoid getting involved in the conflict, does that player get disqualified for leaving the bench area?
Honestly this is a great question! I would assume the refs would know the rules but also use some common sense on the situation. I could be wrong though.
I've seen this same situation in other videos, and we never got it resolved. But by the strictest letter of the rules, yes they could be ejected, and more than a few refs would call it that way with no exceptions. I remember seeing a video where there was a fight on the court, and a girl was ejected because her foot touched the baseline when she was (unsuccessfully) trying to hold a teammate back from getting involved.
People mad at her teammates for not jumping in are crazy. That girl started that whole thing and based off her teammates reaction probably has a history of doing such and they are tired of dealing with consequences for her actions. If she just got jumped by the the other teams bench unprovoked yeah they should jump in but when the girls starts it by shoving and then throwing punches she’s on her own then.
Agreed! People act like the whole team wants to be ejected because of 1 Green/ish act. I don't defend people just because as character should play a part in why I would help you. Plus the refs and security were right there to break it up anyway so no real harm was coming to anyone.
