Excited for the results! Maybe you could spread out posting the videos a bit more? I'll watch all your content but some people might just jump to the end if they tune in and see you uploaded two parts of a refining within a few hours.
I use a magnet from a computer hard drive. They're insanity strong. Perhaps with gold filled material. It would work better if you melted it in a melt dish and pour it into a pan of cold water to make flakes (shot). You can never have to much distilled water. Fetalplus machine. Cool 😎
I was thinking about that but I also thought it would be the same as inquarting the gold except I think it would be way to much base metal and then I would have to deal with that really fine gold.(it's harder than I thought to filter)
@@SilverStoll I think of it as the gold filled material is already inquarted to less then 25% gold by volume. Hot dilute nitric acid baths until the hot nitric acid bath stays clear. A 10, 11 micron filter filtering a cooled solution will capture all the gold. Then go directly to Aqua Regia the filter or filters. This could be a new experiment testing out what technique works best for gold filled material. Fun stuff bud. Enjoy 😉
Be careful buying gf jewlery. Especially from ebay. On a few occasions ive bought things from ebay that are even stamped gf and when I refined them I found they're only plated
Can’t wait to see part 2.
Did you find part 2?

I found that out the hard way lol. I didn't check to see if it was actually GF like the description said. Definitely lost on that one
