    I am having some confusion. In problems 1 and 2, we used the claim as the alternative hypothesis, but in this problem, we seem to be doing the opposite. Can you explain why this is the case?

    hi, what about the lower tail? don't you need to prove its greater than the lower critical value too? how would you do this since you can't do 0.975 in an f table?
