Hoping you release your song I heard in 2013 at your Jersey concert "A Boy from Jersey". I really enjoyed that song and listen to it on you tube. I had Dr.j as one idol growing up and you were/are the other. I have been to 35 of your concerts over the years, and want to thank you for being you. Your solo work is very underrated. You never got the individual solo recognition you deserve. Hits like : sex on the beach, winner, baby im back, american family, long hot summer night, jamillenium, one night, lets make love, Heart to heart, All I want is Forever, and more would be a fantastic greatest hits cd. One thing you said in this interview stuck me, "if it sounds like something I did before dont do it again". I know your new music is done as you said and will be coming out, but please STILL BE YOU, WE ALL CHERISH AND LOVE YOUR SOUND AND MUSIC. Just because the dj's didnt play your solo work like they did katg, doesnt mean it isnt "Fresh" and a "Victory". I actually really love the old school Kool & The Gang. My favorite song is “Jungle Boogie” off Wild & Peaceful. The good news is that JT was a Win/Win for Kool & The Gang. His vocals made Kool & The Gang even better musicians. They already had that strong jazz 🎺🎷🎹🎼 foundation.
