31:50 Steel train
@@JordysRailVideos it is 😀😀👍
@@driver667I'm surprised that there's no one under the PID on platform 2 at 5:09 since the person in question usually gets the Steel train
@@JordysRailVideos might be hiding. 🤔🤔👍😀

still strange to think that frankston still has the old shunt signals
It's nice to see the old signalling and signal box still in place at Frankston. Amazing its survived. 👍😀
Do V/Line drivers drive Metro trains as well when required?
I'd presume not, different companies, different specialisations. But I don't doubt that someone could work for both
@@Darththorn we only work for the one company nowadays. But my camera likes to travel around. 👍😀
I just letting you know the new parkdale station has been reopened
@@ConnorSmith-sx1zn yes, I have heard, thank you. 👍😀
Which Metro train is the easiest to drive in your opinion?
I always enjoyed driving the Comeng trains but the Siemens were good to drive also. Been a number of years now since I've driven a Metro train though. 👍😀
I realise I don't know everything (almost, but not quite), but I thought a Metro was a mainly an undrground-ish, subway-ish kind of arrangement, as opposed to an EMU suburban commuter rail.🤔 No?
Nah lol, the train lines I use to go home have maybe one singular underground station excluding the city loop stations (Pakenham/Cranbourne lines)
It’s only really underground in the city loop and the new metro tunnel, most of it is on ground or elevated.
In this case, ‘Metro’ is the company name of the trains. Not a classification of spec
Thanks everyone. Now I do know everything.😁
The Wikipedia page for “Metro Trains Melbourne” may help to clarify. In this case, ‘Metro’ is just a brand name.
