How To Settle a Baby

I have done this with my baby but he will wake up crying about 5 to 10 minutes later and I will have to repeat the process 2 or 3 more times before he stays asleep. Do you have any advice on that or is it fairly normal? He is 9 weeks old.

Try gently patting him down on his back when he's in his crib.
