I've heard sounds ingame that do not correspond to any of these monsters, especially on solo.. scared the crap out of my one kinda sounded a bit like a deeper airhorn going off three times
SAME!! I was playing a few hours ago and heard something that sounded like pig snorts. What made it scarier is that I couldn’t look for the source of the noise because I had to keep my eye on TWO springs AND a blob (there were also mines behind me and my friend at base guided me into a dead end🙄🤦🏻♀️. The only thing he told me was “THERES SOMETHING MOVING BEHIND YOU!! ….just thought you should know”)

i was wondering who laughed in the game when i was playing solo, i heard of the jester but never heard or seen him in game so i thought it was him based on the name
@@ItsRagingRay Check the wiki for him, it has the audio file if his laugh. If it matches up then it was indeed him! Otherwise you may have been hearing the ghost girl if it sounded more feminine.
I think the Eyeless Dog also has a warning growl when it senses something to investigate. Also, the Sporehead and Nutcracker were missed from here for some reason.
just wondering, is this case-sensitive what the files show? like if i went into the custom sounds mod and changed the files would they replace the sound if i named the .wav file to whatever is up there?
im just using this so i know what is the sound of the building and the sound of death so i don't fear quit cuz of some random sound that isn't a monster
I love the idea of spring-head, he is supposed to be completely still when you look at him... but when you look at him and he STOPS moving... you see his head wobble... why is it wobbling if he is still? Edit: this is rhetorical.
Because it's entire body moves, but the head is attached by a spring. When the body stops moving, the head can't stop as fast, so it tries to keep moving, which stretches out the spring, and then the spring Bounces back

it’s not his laugh it’s random ambience, some people just heard it when there was a bracken in game, not even near them and assumed it was that
