    RESIN SAFETY
    Please use resin with care. Any health and safety questions should be asked directly to the company of the resin you use. Read your product safety data sheet (SDS) before using, always wear PPE- nitrile gloves, respirator and goggles or a full-face respirator. Do it in an open, ventilated area- separate to your living spaces. Long sleeved clothing is also advised. Do some research into using resin safely so you can be as well informed as possible to the possible health risks of using it incorrectly.

    Hi. Gorgeous and cute, great idea shaker in resin. Just wondering what liquid you squeezed in to make the elements float. Is it oil glycerine. Thank you for sharing. 😀💜🙏

    Beautiful work!!! Why do you fill the shaker fromthe side vs filling it through the film? Just curious if I need to change my ways!

      Thank you! I've just always done it that way, i worry doing it through the film would leave a mark (i don't know if it does or not?)

    Hello! I want to start working with resin. Your videos are so helpful and fun to watch your creative process. Do you know much about vocs? I know that resin lets off toxins when mixed. What would this mean for a resin with no vocs? Does it mean that there are no toxins released if a product states to have no vocs? Thank you for any info you can provide!❤

    • @SeriouslyCreative
      @SeriouslyCreative  3 года назад +1

      Hey thank you so much! Good question. I am not a professional in the field, but I treat ALL resin as toxic because in my opinion it is. They all have to produce fumes of some sort to have a chemical reaction to cure. I think some companies that advertise as "non-toxic" have found some kind of loophole in order to label their product as such because I can't see a way that it would be possible. I highly encourage you to join the face book group "Epoxy resin is not my friend". It has a huge amount of information. It can be scary to learn about but as long as you're safe when creating it can also be a fantastic hobby.

      Also another note- i do plan on making another resin safety video in order to address questions like these because i really want people to be safe when using resin. I just need to do more research

      @@SeriouslyCreative Thank you! Your reply is of much help and makes sense. Probably from a seller point companies may be getting away with labels as such, but health point I will treat all resins as toxic and use proper equipment. That'd be great if you could make another safety video! I know it will help and better yet save many people.
