Such a great songwriter and performer. Her songs work just as well scaled up or stripped down. Her work initially seems simple, but there's a lot of lyrical and musical complexity to it.
Do most singers put their mouth that close to the microphone? Maybe I just notice her doing it, but it seems to me that she almost eats it when she performs. It sort of distracts me because I imagine that the microphone starts to smell pretty bad in the later days of her tours.
