She is the only modern musician that makes me still really believe in music. Without her i'd have given up on it long ago, and just listened to all the good stuff that was made decades ago. I discovered her, so there must be more good stuff out there that just isn't getting the attention it deserves. She should be on top of the world.

I don't know if that made any sense, but I'm basically saying - Regina Spektor is probably the most amazing vocalist out there...either her or Amy Lee from Evanescence, but both are amazing in their own way. I'm not comparing, because both have different styles.

She's so amazing... Her lyrics are simple, yet poignant, her voice is a little offbeat, but beautiful and warm, and her piano playing ranges from bouncy and cheery to mournful and bittersweet. She's clearly not afraid to be herself, and herself is a very beautiful human being. I think she has stolen my heart... Well, she would if i weren't already taken.

goldfishinaglass, that is so true! I was browsing through my ipod on the shuffle setting and found that literally every other song was hers! She is the most amazing singer of her time! This one of my favorite songs of hers. I like the beginning, "ah, ah ,ah,arah, ah ah" better in the studio when she has her back ground singers and it does not cut off so abruptly, but even so- she is THE amazing artist!
