I totally agree about the look of Micheal Myers in this one.
One of the problems being that his mask is so tight to the face that you see his eyes constantly, humanizing him.
The mask is supposed to be set a ways away from the eyes so it's all dark, freaky, and inhuman looking.
That's one of my favorite things about this movie. Growing up, I found the mask in this one so terrifying *because* you can see his eyes. It's my personal second favorite mask of the series.

Fun Fact: Since Scream paid homage to the original Halloween, H20 decided to return the favor both showing Scream 2 on the tv (like Scream one watching Halloween), and hanging the girl, a nod to Drew Barrymore's death in the beginning of the first Scream...

My dad and I went to see this movie when it came out. It did not hold up lol. But, the little old lady that told her Happy Halloween was her momma in real life shes the one that dies in the shower scene in Psycho. If I remember right she drove the same car she was driving in Pyscho.

I remember me and my best friend being excited for this movie when it came out and they aired it on TV on Halloween it was always a tradition to watch the Halloween movies while we separated our candy

H2O - you see, cause it's the 20th anniversary of Halloween AND H20 is the element of water on the periodic table...you see the connection??? Yeah, me neither. lol. Here was a chance to have at least one kill, if not several, involving water...a bathtub drowning, some kind of electrocution involving water, stabbing with an icicle instead of the typical kitchen knife...SOMETHING...but no, not a single goddamn water-related thing to make the title pun make sense. I think this was the movie Jamie Lee said "F this, Im done with these movies, I'm selling yogurt that makes you shit from now on."

I really enjoy this movie, watched it a lot as a kid so gives me a lot of nostalgia. I actually enjoy the Rob Zombie versions too, I just separate them from the originals completely and if you like big dusty Michael I think you’ll like Rob’s Michael 😂

Kind of a what if movie, like if everything had been done just a little bit better, it could've been the best in the franchise. And they didn't really learn their lesson with the new reboot either.
At least the 2018 movie got the mask right lol.
This was definitely a late 90s movie with the music soundtrack and all it was a decent movie but it could have been a lot better there needed to be more horror and suspense. I've never been a huge Halloween fan myself I think Freddy Krueger is a lot scarier and creepy and I like the Chucky movies because it's just funny and hilarious. The Halloween movies are just okay for me, him walking around with a knife the whole movie slowly stalking people just doesn't do it for me.

Really fun fact the teacher that jump scares Jamie lee . Is her real life mom Janet Leigh who was the woman in the shower in psycho. But yeah I Hated this Michael Myers . The movie however was enjoyable . But yeah wheres the scary rip your arm off and beat the shit out of you with it Michael Myers. But gotta say when she starts hunting Michael and yells for . Is the best part.

This one is OK it's just a part of that late 90's teen slasher run that you know what started it didn't feel like Halloween too much and I don't like it tossing Halloween 4 out 5&6 yes but not 4 it should've been Laurie & her daughter Jamie instead of them retconning Halloween 4 it would've been real easy to connect 4 with this Halloween H20 did some unnecessary retcon bs.
It was originally supposed to make the Jamie movies canon to this one. I believe in the script, there was a scene where a student did a report on Micheal Myers or some and mentions Jamie's death, which hits Laurie pretty hard hearing it. I guess they decided it wasn't going to fit in the script or whatever...

I seen this in the theaters and loved it, but over the years, I've seen it for it's flaws, and to me it's a shitty Halloween. It's looks like a CW teen drama from the late 90's, it's like dawson's creek presents halloween. The mask in several shots is GARBAGE, and that CGI mask ROFL, the guy playing myers is trash, and a pet peeve of mine with the myers character is seeing his eyes, and not only that, his eyes get wide with surprise when he sees laurie through that round window in the door, Myers doesn't show emotions like that. That ending LOL, she chops his head off, but you see how they retconned it in the next movie resurrection which is worse then all the halloweens except for rob zombies pile of rotten garbage. Can't wait till you get to Halloween 2018, and halloween kills. 9:38 that's Jamie lee's mom janet leigh, the girl killed in the shower in Psycho.
