- A well known poem about love. It expresses the overwhelming grief of a speaker mourning the loss of a loved one, essentially asking the world to stop and acknowledge their profound sorrow by symbolically halting everyday life, as if the universe should reflect the immense emptiness they feel without this person; it conveys the isolating experience of grief where the world continues on as usual despite the speaker's immense loss. ~ (AI Generated Descr.)
Yes, this poem can feel intense, (escpecially in the beginning) even a bit dark to some, but I surely think that we can appreciate the beauty of all these poemic words--if we've lost anyone we love.
I've added a little bit of my own take on this, concerning the photo art I shared here.
After we're able to first - fully sit with our grief & sadness, while in this process, we can go through different stages of mourning. Once we're more aware that 'this too shall pass'...(feeling different shades of feeling blue) But, at the very beginning we feel much darkness leading into a lighter Black & White, then, into a more subtle blue feeling, (even dreamy-like) then a bit more vividly deeper, and lastly brighter entense feelings that can lead us to peaceful blues with our life, as is. A heavenly acceptance, and possibly for some, they reach a sweeter state of blue creativity.
Knowing that it all happens in divine timing, can relieve us of any guilt if we're just not ready, but we develop this greater understanding...That eventually it can take us to place of more comfort when we look at it with a new perspective. When our heart is ready, that is.
It's human nature to be aware that loved ones/loved things will always be with us through our memories of warmth and love.... And also, in time, we will be at peace with it. Knowing our suffering will end and it might even take us to a beautiful heaven of 'Sweet Blues' into peace and acceptance to be able to go on.
This Vlog can also be used to find comfort with any sort of grieving a loss of anyone, but also a loss of anything we've lost and "when and how to move on". Maybe something here can help...
