Hi! I am an ACCA Affiliate and I have cleared all my exams in the very first attempt. I will be starting my first job as an Audit Assistant next month in a BIG FOUR firm. My accounting concepts are clear and I am also doing a course on Udemy for investment banking. It is my dream to become an investment banker by the age of 23 (I am 21 right now) and I truly believe that working with big brands really gives me the exposure I will need as I advance in my career. I want to kick start my journey with a bulge bracket investment bank and this course will help me in doing so.
Hi Angela! Thanks for this video. I am an international student pursuing masters and I am trying to break into investment banking. This course will be very helpful in honing my accounting and valuation skills. I would learn a lot!
I want to do the course to the "Investment Banker Course" to increase my technical skills for my internship, and Financial Edge has credibility on Wall Street, so it will be recognized on my resume.
Hi Angela. Thanks for the great insights. I am currently a BSc Real Estate student at one of the top universities in South Africa, University of Pretoria and I have an unmatched passion for finance. I have found investment banking to be the best profession through which I can explore my passion for both real estate and finance. I have already started taking free soft skills(such as excel formulas for finance, accounting Fundamentals, Reading Financial statements etc) but I do not have the funds to continue my education with the hard skills(financial modelling and valuation) and I would like to apply for an internship for this summer analyst program. Having Financial edge on my resume will position me better to get these internships, so I would like to get the financial edge investment banking course for those reasons.
Investment banking has been my dream job tbh. I am currently working in the banking industry, going to investment banking is a large opportunity especially for those who works at retail banking. I think this course will give me the skills to have a rough idea of what the job entails.
Hi Angela, I would like to try my luck for the investment banking course giveaway!! I’m a penult student, I’ve interned at some finance related roles including at a VC and CB. I’d love to have the opportunity to strengthen my technical skills through the course. Especially since i would be taking a leave of absence from school for an internship, i hope to make the best use of my time!
Happened to me yesterday, oh boy how long it took forever after chasing down the hr person in charge and also asking people in the company to ask all for just a Microsoft teams call to tell me no return offer
It is a very competitive market. My nephew just got a FT offer from an elite boutique he just did the summer interns. He says out of the 8 interns in his group they only pick 2 with FT offer.
@@angelasunx3 No sad face; I was just saying because I'm a self-isolated UC Berkeley data science student who wants to go for an MBA in finance and move to NY and your channel's my favorite I wasn't being lonely about it
Somebody could do an internship at a non bulge bank then use the experience as useful interview rhetoric for actual bulge bank for their graduate programme....
Great video! Especially your points on soft skills.

Hi Angela,
Can you recommend some books 📚 from your side, be it in any category, whatever you like..🌱
Been reading Atomic Habits and it's good for overall changing your mindset on having healthier habits

I’m interested in the course and really want to go into IB because of the opportunities it gives.
Agree!
Hey Angela, if I did get a return offer, but I want to go elsewhere else, how do I leverage my offer to my FT recruiting cycle
You should mention it to HR or during the interview
