In this video we will look at the component parts of the contact point type voltage regulator and it's principle of operation. This is a two element type regulator where we have a relay unit and a regulator unit.

What is the all blue wire for..sir..tq.
The blue line is a tapping line from the ignition terminal coming to the regulator. If you want to operate something on the ON key position, you can take it from there. It is connected to the IG terminal of the regulator.
Have you an other video about starter performance test?
Yes I have made videos about starter motor performance test you can see them in the channel. Simply type starter in the channel search and have a look at those videos!!

hello sir, maybe im overlooked. when voltage from B+ flow to terminal L to regulator coil. So how/when regulator coil will actuate to cut current frim IG to F terminal. i mean to maintain 14.8v
The voltage coming from alternator B terminal will be used as a source for the voltage regulator coil, which is connected to L. When the voltage reaches the maximum set value, for example 14.8 volts , the magnetism will be strong enough to detach IG from F. Then current flows through the resistor, limiting the alternator output .
