Rawalpindi is named after Rajput Hindu king Bappa Rawal who was king of Mewar in rajasthan .Lahore was once a very vibrant city when Hindus were there .Now there is no charm in both these cities .These cities don't have good transport system to reach any corner of city easily .Metro rail was built by Chinese loan.Which is not economical.Your Lahore is no match to our even Jaipur .

It is definitely one of the best cities to live apart from some of the crucial issues due to not proper planning like you correctly mentioned. I hope Karnataka gets strong government in future which will address the issues. Major problem in last 20 years is though all government won't stop development they don't even do it to full extent. Almost all are corrupt , they keep Bengaluru in middle (half money to development shop that it doesn't stop and other half they eat and become rich themselves).
Other cities in 🇮🇳 are also very good and are unique in their own way. But, Bengaluru definitely makes it somewhere on the top

What I like is that there is such a variety in the dressing of people, and nobody's bothering anyone. There is a woman with her head covered. There is another woman who is wearing a tank top, another girl who is wearing a short skirt, another one who is wearing salwar kameez. Same with men, I see guys wearing shorts, jeans , and two men who were wearing the traditional lungi. Nobody was giving anybody lectures about morality and how to dress up in a conservative fashion. This is the reason why india has progressed by leaps and bounds.

I think you missed Empire Biriani. There are around 20+ Empire Restaurants owned by a Muslim brother from Kerala and out of that 13 branches are at Bangalore. You will get a special halaal Dum Biriyani here - which is called Malabar Biriyani. Apart from Empire you will get Malabar biriani at Paragon Restaurant opposite to Empire at Church Street. Paragon is also owned by a Kerala Muslim but biriyani price is little high here comparing with Empire. But you will get halaal, if you are particular about it.
