Honestly, I wish we knew more about sire Eversor, because it's implied all of the original directors were skilled assassins, meaning he didn't just produce eversors and throw them at people, he WAS an eversor assassin himself and possibly the single greatest and most deadly one to ever exist due to the mental stability and ability to reason you mentioned in the end. Sounds like a person who could even make primarchs nervous.

It's similar, but honestly way better designed. The usage of Eversors is specific enough that it works perfectly, whereas the butchers nails just end up more or less ruining a whole chapter of space marines. It turns out having raged out monsters is okay if you only use them as raged out monsters, but it's a lot less ideal if you plan to use them as a proper military force.

They sent a Vindicate because they wanted to send a message. Sending an Eversor would likely have depopulated the capital.

I'm assuming that The high lords of the imperium wanted some plausible deniability after they killed the Cardinal. They didn't want to accidentally cause the planet to rebel in an attempt to avenge his murder by a tyrannical empire. Instead they just wanted the cardinal dead and give his followers nothing to strike back.
Eversor tried to kill Gabriel Seth and almost succeeded because it was almost as angry as him 🙃
Not Arch but:
#1 not physically stronger, but I know thats not what you mean. Eversor is a much different creature than space marine. SM are "pack" animals, Eversor much more like Custodes is a solo operative (even if they have been known to work in groups). Eversor has actually more staying power than "average" SM, and uses much more specialized and exotic weaponry. It is more than able, and in most cases will barely slow down while tearing through a SM.
#2 Vindicare gives you plausible deniability, its a scalpel. Eversor is not a mallet. Eversor is a wrecking ball controlled by a drug fueled maniac. Assasinorum did not want to create a martyr. Using Eversor would create a wide path of gore and rubble from his point of landing to the cardinal.
#3 Eversor is barely sane. Its a Khorne Berserker on a bad day, after stepping on a lego. He is fueled by combat drugs and his augmentations, and while not on deployment he is put under stasis. While his actions would make Khorne a very happy boy, he himself does not have any thoughts that would lead him to venerate any god. There is only target, and the mission to relive it from its extremities. Theoretically if Eversor was captured and dumped into Khornes domain, he could become some sort of champion, like a certain warboss and his boyz, but in practice its just not worth the hassle.
TL;DR version: The Eversor is an assassination Servitor.

Basically a Rampage Shooter using the Eversor, ofcourse with a Good dose of Gore and destruction, that you could look back and have a moment, Hmm I Missed a spot painting the walls
A Sniper Elite style game with different campaigns for each of the temples would be amazing

Given their lifespan is 2-3 years, that would be impressive to say the least. Not to mention, an Eversor being stationary for more than eleven seconds is rare.

Pretty sure the the death metal band BoltThrower wrote a tune about the Eversor assassins. Warmaster and World Eater are such good songs from them , I absolutely love those guys
