This dog is special because he is Australian cattle dog, Australian Shepherd, and border collie mix. Those dogs have high intelligence and energy.

The amazing thing is this dog is probably much happier than the most pampered house dog. He is alive, he enjoys the time with his human, he gets an amazing level of fitness. He will live a long, happy life, full of movement and joy. The guy in this video, likewise, has a great level of fitness, approaching the limits of human movement. We forget we are descended from an animal that began as prey and worked its way up to the apex predator of the planet. We still feel the desire to hunt, to run, to be.
