@@LoboGamersao13 I would think I started learning the Maple Leaf Rag around 8 or 9 years ago and that was the first real composition I learned. Before that I just spent time playing through sheet music tutorial books.
@dylan-kerry If I start learning Piano today Studying 5 hours a day, how long do you think it will take me to learn? Obs: I play Violin so I think It Will be more easy because I know How to Head Sheet Music
@ It depends how far you want to get and how you practice. I personally played a few hours a day and simply played pieces from the music as written for hours every day. I’ve since learned to improvise over that. I would recommend also practicing scales and such exercises which is something I never did. Overall it shouldn’t take long to know a few rags well as written, as in possibly a few weeks once you can read to a certain degree, and from there it’s just a matter of learning harder pieces and how to improvise
How long have you been playing the piano?
