@@weezerptooie926 Hmmm...who covered who? Okay, I looked it up and yep, Ike and Tina did a fantastic cover. The only one that is listed, so this is the second cover?
@@timreed44 I answered with a bit of tongue in cheek as Ike and Tina's version is so well known. I'll bet there are many people that don't even know it's a CCR song. It's all in good fun though and Billy Strings does a great version too, as he's done with all his myriad of covers. You can't go wrong with Billy!
@@weezerptooie926 You got that right! Billy is amazing. I'm also amazed that he can put out so much product while staying on the road. The guy must never sleep!
Sorry if I say something: it's a great band & It's worth the effort to sing Proud Mary, but the instruments's orchestra-volume is just louder than the voices, only at this time. The only thing as a solution would be to balance calibrating the volume between the voices and orchestra. The 🎸Ash-Guitar Center Stores carry the apparatus for it. I suspect that you just had only a unique unexpected request from spectators so, there it's no time for any rehearsal at all. I've seen Beatles before when they did the same thing one time, but they fixed it recovered later afterwards..
Best version of this song ever. Easy to see how much these guys enjoy their music.
Billy is fabulous in so many different ways his music is far ahead
It just doesn't get any better than this 🙂
Billy is a monster player!
i never thought that this song can sound so good in a countryversion!!!!! nice
Just makes me literally feel good all over**

First time I've ever heard anyone with the guts to cover CCR. You grassed it up!
Uhmmmm, Ike and Tina?

@@weezerptooie926 It's been a year since I made the comment, so maybe I was referring to a Bluegrass cover. I don't recall.

Would have been amusing to hear your version of Tina’s opening monologue for this, but well done all the same.
