The first time I ever heard Israel Houghton was 1998 ish at a concert held in a church in San Antonio, Texas. He was opening for Anointed and he came out, just him and his guitar and started playing and singing and I was blown away-but it was one moment that evening where he told the story of his mother and what she had gone through while pregnant with him explaining the back story to his song You Are Not Forgotten…I was on the verge of a divorce and it just broke me to hear it, because it felt like God was speaking directly to me. So good! That moment has forever been burned on my heart. Thank you for not giving up when it would have been so easy to just walk away from all the craziness. Your music and ministry have been important in my life-and hearing this conversation was a breath of fresh air, because people be people’ing and God is still all Love and All Good. I pray you prosper, even as your Soul prospers and that you would be in good health! Bless only! 🤍

What a great couple, this reminds me of my wife and I. I"'m an ex-gang member from Los Angeles, I got saved in jail in 1985. I found a great ministry and now I"m a leader in that church - Youth Pastor / Minister, serving the Lord hard at 59,
I met my wife while teaching at a bible study on a college campus (Cal State Northridge) at 52, she was 40. You guessed it, she's Latin and Adrienne reminds me of my wife so much, not in personality but in Authenticity, sincerity, real, beautiful, Loves with Loyalty so hard. My wife loved me through all the craziness and said I'm going to marry him no matter what others may say. Now she says, I'm so glad I married you, we have a beautiful son who is 6 years old., Her family loves me a lot we've been together 8 years just like Israel and Adrienne. Unconditional love wins people over team, I"'m not saying to compromise at all. Thank you for the interview, this is great wholesome content. I hope I meet Adrienne and Israel one day. GREAT COUPLE... Thanks Chelsea & Judah.

I believe she has too much integrity as a woman of God to speak about them. She is a very matured seasoned woman of God, Adrienne cannot even be compared with her level of maturity and integrity. To walk out on a woman who has prayed you through and see God elevate you to go behind a woman who post herself almost naked on social media is very for telling of Isreal’s character and where his head space is. He stays trying to present Adrienne as a person who she’s not to justify his actions. I believe Melissa silence is golden. She’s an intercessor in the true sense. God will vindicate her in due time. She do not have to utter a word!

I called Israel, a married man to ask him questions about other guys. I was friends with a married man for 3 years while his life was imploding. All of this sounds so disrespectful to his ex wife and they are laughing like it's not big deal. It's obvious they were both ALREADY liking each other before she broke off her engagement and before he got a divorce. They need to keep it real.

When would Isreal Houghton take responsibility for the wrong that he has done to his wife?
How many time will he try to justify his behavior and place Christians in a box as bad people- of course they would call you out for your wrong but whenever he needs music to sell he comes to the church but after that he constantly blasts the Church.
Terrible interview!!! This man committed infidelity and destroyed his entire family because of reckless living. Of course God is able to forgive but we cannot justify ungodly character by overshadowing it with The word of God. Isreal needs help and healing. He is very uncomfortable and used Adrienne because he knew the church was not gonna support him as much as they did after what he did to his wife. That woman suffered under him and what he and Adrienne have done is continue to flaunt their relationship over social media. All this time his ex wife Melissa has not done one interview nor uttered a word about them. God will deal with men like Isreal Houghton. It’s only a matter of time. Of course God forgives but there’s consequences for our actions especially the pain he has put that woman of God Melissa through with her children. Pray for him for when God begins to deal with him he would need prayers. He is not even humble enough to go sit under a local pastor and serve in the church as others. God help him when all fades away …

You are speaking from your own pain and projecting it on a man you do not know. You don’t know his family, wife, ex-wife, children. If you listened to the interview you would see how Israel talks about all the pain he’s experienced his entire life. I won’t judge this man. My own father did something very similar to my family. I forgave my father and have moved on in Jesus. That’s what Israel and Meleasa have apparently done. Adrienne has a relationship with Israel’s children. I pray for your peace and understanding of Jesus in a real and impactful way, and that God will heal your pain.
