    @asmoxbaby. I cannot comment about your specific security application. However, be clear that just because you are using virtual servers - you cannot legally evade software licencing. If your security software is licenced by server - you will need a licence for each virtual server. I hope this helps even if it's not the answer you wanted.

    Thank You.
    Question: I have a customer that wants to migrate a security server we sold them to a virtualisation platform. The problem is my application on that dedicated server utilizes a hardware to generate their license key. The whole licensing infrastucture is strict around this concept. Is there any models of applications such as this working in a Pool Virtualisation? Thanks!

    i have a question that who invented server virtualization? is it microsoft,linux,oracle,vmware or citrux

    • @LUISTARWIND
      @LUISTARWIND 5 лет назад

      None of those !!!
      It was none other than the mighty ---- IBM ----

    • @2DeCipher
      @2DeCipher  5 лет назад

      None of those. It was around before any of them even thought about it. However, in the world of X86 (Intel) servers, VMware was the pioneer which got it into the mainstream.

      @@LuisRodriguez-wo6nl or was it GE? (but not on x86 servers which is the topic of the video). Love the debate though.
