    Matt you have a digital tape measure on your Iphone if you want more exact measurements or not able to walk it out like you did in the video. You also have way-points on your iphone maps and on that Garmin you wear (at least you should) so you can get back quicker. Recommend getting exact coordinates for all your cave entrances and documenting them on a map for you and certain people in your staff if heaven forbid there was ever an emergency and you needed to get help there in the dark or ASAP. I would also have it available for part of an action plan for local sheriff and fire services.

    Slow and steady wins this race. A good, reliable lawyer who will keep you up to date on all legal matters, who will not skip over anything in regards to running such a resort. A reliable, friendly, honest, helpful, camp host who is and wants to be present (available). Our camping experience mostly included KOA camp grounds, some state Parks, a few privately owned campgrounds all accommodated our 37ft Fifth Wheel and as much as possible I especially liked full ( electric, sewer, & water) hookups. However you may be thinking of a more rustic campground especially by the river. Resort sounds very classy for rustic. The activities sound great!! I’m sure whatever you develop there will be wonderful. Enjoy your videos although we are new to your channel.

    I think the big grate needs to be demountable, just so you can easily get equipment in, & a casualty on a stretcher out of the cave in the event of an accident. You'd not need to open it normally, but if you did need to open it, you'd _really_ need to open it...

    • @warrenmichael918
      @warrenmichael918 11 месяцев назад +3

      huh? It will be "demountable" They are bolting it down so a few bolts can be removed easily. They also most likely wouldnt put a casualty on a stretcher, that will require a bady bag! LOL

    • @Darksyde1029
      @Darksyde1029 11 месяцев назад +2

      Accidents can always happen, even if you're a professional and especially if you're a novice being taken on a guided tour by a professional, which is the end goal. I had the exact same thought as the commenter you replied to, the big grate needs to be able to open to get equipment in and out easily (like pumps to lower the water level or tools for digging out areas in the cave etc.) and to easily extract injured divers if an accident does occur.@@inceneration

    • @brolohalflemming7042
      @brolohalflemming7042 11 месяцев назад

      With proper cave or just confined space rescues, that isn't usually a problem because power tools. More important is a reasonable map and description on file with EMS, local cave rescue and site office. EMS would have power tools or even just good'ol halligans for getting through that grill. Rescue teams have things like collapsible stretchers that casualties can be strapped into and hauled out on though. Most important thing is like Matt said, making it harder for people to accidentally or intentionally wander into places they shouldn't be.
