Clemson....6 consecutive appearances in the playoffs, with 2 NC wins and 4 NC appearances. UGA 1 playoff appearance with 0 NC wins in 40 years. Nice try, but game 1 of the 2021 season will come, and the hungry Clemson Tigers will feast on the Bulldogs. It has to hurt to watch the best Quarterback UGA ever recruited playing in the Natty. It takes a special kind of stupid to lose Justin Fields to Jake Fromm...a barely average Quarterback. Had UGA properly utilized Fields, I suspect UGA would have made the NC game last year, and this year. Even UGA fans likely know that. I agree Dabo needs to talk less, and he certainly made some mistakes. He never made a mistake on the level Kirby Smart made with Justin Fields though. Very few coaches have literally did nothing to keep such a talented Quarterback on their team. Kirby practically made Justin Fields the team water boy.

Not gonna come on here and make excuses. Absolutely pitiful performance by my school on Friday. But all I can do is look forward into the future and appreciate the guys on this team and how hard they worked. We were young in a lot of areas this year and it showed. It hurts a lot that we had to send Trevor and Travis out like that but you can’t change the past. A new era of Clemson football begins now with DJ Uiagalalei under center. Being a Clemson fan for over 20 years now has come with a lot of disappointments and setbacks. More will come. But it will have its moments of triumph as well. One of those being the season opener next year. Come get you some Dawgs!!! Go Tigers 🐅

Anyone who wins all their games and their conference deserves consideration for the playoffs, regardless of prior year’s win/loss recorded in the playoffs.
The season matters and actual winning matters, not opinion and reputation subjectiveness. Only when you have too many undefeated power 5 teams or too many 1 loss power 5 conference winners does any sort of subjectiveness come into play.

Clemson had big issues across their offensive line and in their secondary for the past 2 seasons but those Clemson well we have Trevor Lawrence so we can't lose fans just wouldn't listen to reason. From 2015-2018 Clemson had a great offensive and defensive line but these past 2 seasons those groups just haven't been as dominant plus you also gotta consider some of that success is because they prey upon a weak ACC that didn't even manage to win a single bowl game this year.

TLaw has hardly developed since starting as a freshmen. His crowning achievement was beating a mediocre Bama secondary with awesome receivers...28 games ago. He was easily outplayed by the last 2 QBs he played in the playoffs. He played against an ACC in potentially its worst stretch in its history (2 ranked teams other than Clemson in 2018-19 combined) and didn't have preposterous stats relative to QBs in tougher conferences.
He's as close to the next Jamarcus Russell as he is to the next Steve Young - meaning we literally don't know what he'll be at the next level.

I think the boosters at UGA have a lot to do with who starts at QB also. they would Rather lose with a sorry ass QB like Fromm than win with an elite 5 star dual threat QB like Fields. I'm a Bama fan, but i actually hope Ohio state wins and Justin has the best game of his college career, even better than the one he just had, so the boosters, Kirby Smart, and all the UGA fans that doubted Justin when he was there can see what they missed out on, can see that this could've been UGA in this position instead of OSU.

Clemson O line was a epic failure this year. Travis E yards before contact dropped over 2 yds from last to this year. I don’t think he lost his vision over night. Lawrence was getting put on his ass virtually every play. Dabo has been skating on thin ice with avg offensive lines for years by spreading people out and using misdirection. Finally fell through the ice.

I absolutely enjoyed that Clemson defense, I think Justin Fields enjoyed it as well. After the game listening to ESPN still talking about Clemson was extremely funny. Like they had it planned and were unable to change what they had planned on talking about.

Clemson on the decline. Ohio State broke Miami’s program in 2002.. Canes haven’t been right since. I think OSU did the same to Clemson last night. Georgia just needs to step on Dabo’s head in the opener next yr and they are done.

What you're saying about Clemson lou I've known for the last two years but people said i was just "making excuses". Now that Clemson has done gotten slapped down twice in back to back postseasons maybe they'll start to see things from my point of view lol
Yet, you will still probably see some of them arguing that Clemson was the better team than Ohio State at full last year... Which, I still can't understand. Do I think tOSU would have beaten that LSU squad that was just fire last year? I doubt it. But do I think they would have performed a lot better than Clemson did? Hell yes. Especially with someone like Bosa who could at least apply a lot more pressure and often forcing double teams. And do I think if they played that game vs Clemson 10 times, the buckeyes win at least 8? Hell yes. Clemson got lucky, and it was more than just that ejection.

The reason we've got progressively worse is because of our defense brother..... Which is quite obvious. Out of 120 Clemson football players over 90 of them were freshmen and sophomore this year...... Love it Lou, lol. However, I hope GA finds a real QB because that cat ya'll have now is not it! He cannot throw a long ball. Those ducks he throws up on long balls are embarrassing and any team with decent secondary will eat that for lunch. His short passing is hit and miss at best too. Whoever Clemson comes up with at QB next year will likely be better than what GA has right now. I hope not but that is how I see it being a fan of neither GA or Clemson.
