I NEEDED THIS!! I love what you said about being turned off by the undergrad chapter. I was invited to pledge countless times, but the girls at that chapter were like mean girls and I just didn't want to be associated.
Congrats on your completion 👏🏽 this was very informative since I’m in the process of looking for a grad chapter to join for AKA. I feel like we both realize the meaning of not joining a chapter based off their rep.. that’s a bit of a reason why I didn’t join in under grad. Loved the video 🙂

Hey Soror! I just found your page. I too was a Fall 2019 initiate. 11/24/19 Beta Epsilon Omega Chapter! Yes, we learn ALOT during our process and I appreciated each step we had to go through. I have 159 line-sisters so we made history for our chapter with having the largest line.
Oh wow. That is a huge line Soror. I am Fall 2019, grad chapter!! It was only 9 of us on my line.

Thank you for posting this video you cut straight to the point. I really figured it was no point of going grad chapter after I graduate Because I really wanted that undergrad experience. And I figured It wouldn’t be the same But this is something I want to do it’s really been stuck in the back of My mind. I too will be moving back to Jax, Fl when I’m done with school next semester and looking forward to follow My purpose with joining, thank you for you and this information. ❤️

My sister is Fall'19 in Grad and there were 4 in their 20s and the rest a nice mix of those in the 30s ,40s and 50s of the 22 on her line. So it's not just people ya Momma age 😂
How do I become an AKA? I have my Master's degree and ibwas told I have to have a sponsor. I have been trying to find one but to no avail. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Hi there! The best advice would be to go on the website and find graduate chapters close to you. Volunteer with the chapter of interest and get to know the ladies. Graduate members are always looking for those who would be an asset to the chapter and the org. Good luck with your endeavors.
What if you are a graduate student and crossed as a graduate member? How do you suggest to connect with the people in your org at the university? I don’t really know all the “fun stuff” as I would put it and there is a disconnect... I don’t wanna overstep my boundaries because it is not my chapter, but I go to school there as much as all the other members. Is there even a way to navigate this? Or do I just represent in my own fashion?

My college didn’t have Greek life but the city where my college was based in had a grad chapter. I was about 45 min from both FAMU, FSU, Valdosta, and Albany State. After graduating I ended up moving back home to Atlanta, and then Virginia after getting married because of military.

Can I join while attending an online university. It’s accredited but doesn’t offer my sorority?
If you’re looking to join a Grad chapter, you must meet the requirements, despite if there is a chapter at your school. Unless one is chartered during the time you’re attending undergraduate AND you’re invited, then you may express interest.
Hi, I have a question about the grad process. If I have a masters degree, can I use that transcript or must I use both undergrad and grad transcripts?
Grad Degrees supersedes undergrad .

Rayshell Pearson hey I’m not her answering this but I heard you need to have a bachelor degrees to be undergrad chapter and for grad chapter you need to be a graduate of college that mean have a bachelor degree already! You can’t have a associate degree
You need to be in a bachelors program for undergrad
