Dear Jamie, Didn't expect to see this epidode before xmas. Thanks. Love when you say we don't forget those who may not be that lucky to enjoy xmas like us. That reslly reminded me of what Gilbert O'Sullivan write in Nothin' Rhymed. Anyway, though xmas songs are not really my cup of tea - I've been dissppointed with lots of xmas albums by many artists (Jewel's Joy is a rare exception) - it was good to kick off the show with a Kinks' single. Other decent xmas songs I can think if: Gilbert O'Sullivan's Christmas Song, ELP's I Believe in Fr. Christmas, Lennon's Merry Christmas, Jethro Tull's Chrustmas Song, Peter Paul & Mary's Christmas Dinner and A Soalin and of course Simon & Garfunkel's rendition of Silent Night (7 O'clock News) are the songs I play every Christmas. May you and your lol enjoy a marveloius xmas and new year. I look forward to catching up with you and your show in 2022.
