I’m Latino. My ancestors are from South America leaning heavily toward indigenous people of that land. My ancestors and Jews never really crossed, so there is no reason for Jews to distrust or dislike us, but my experience working along side them has been one of exclusion and have been made to feel less than. They look down on those of us that were not Jews. I would say that the rift at that job was caused by the Jews themselves. Just my experience.
Edit: I also need to add, that when I found myself in a low valley, a Jewish charity helped feed me and my baby daughter. So my experience is mixed, but I wanted to add this experience because it touched me deeply and I will never forget

I am a Jew, and I also have been felt to be less than because I grew up in a small town and I was never taught about kosher. Because I wear blue Jeans, and I don't wear a black suit, I too have been treated like crap.
ORTHODOXY, you need to do better. Most rabbis will agree that this is a problem. But it's not really a big enough problem to do anything about.
So if I never join you, or keep kosher, it's your fault.

I like your speeches very much! And I grew up in a town of Argentinas Patagonia were there were not enough Jewish people to for a synagogue, so there was a center for Hebrew studies, I attended there for a few years, I made friends, most of them were warm and caring people, and I would say the secular ones considered me an equal, the non secular did not consider me an equal. No body looked down on me at anytime (I went to very good schools and I’m highly intelligent) but the observant Jewish people considered me acceptable but not good enough to be one of them! I love Israeli people I believe they are the true expression of acceptance, I don’t think the same of Jewish Americans! When a difference makes one not good enough to be one of them! That is the definition of discrimination! Nevertheless, I will always take the Jewish people side because they don’t deserve to be hated!

Great Britain went to war against Germany in 1939 as the government had guaranteed
Poland's very existence. Appeasement, whilst seen as a mistake, had at least allowed Britain to begin to rearm.
There was no appetite for a further European war after the Great War over countries that the British people had no interest in, but Hitler's ambitions were plain for all to see. Poland's population was almost 10% Jewish.

    So, if I got it-
    Abraham and Sarah had Issac.
Isaac and Rebekah had twins, Esau and Jacob.
Jacob wanted to live in peace.
Jacob becomes known as Israel, thus the naming of the country of Jews, Israel.
Jacob is the first known Jew, a person of peace and kindness.
Essu wanted to live in war.
Esau must be the first known gentile, a person of war, and we know war is all about greed, plunder, rape, and pillage, which sounds fairly commonplace today.
I see those of greed, ruthlessness, unethical and immoral activities, battle for continuing domination over those of peace, kindness, compassion, justice and humanity.
    May the battle soon end.

Dear Rabbi - When I was a little guy late 1960's my father tought me the Jews are God's people and we must help and protect them. Ŵe did not have much interactive contact with Jews but I always experienced them as distant. Some did serve as conscripts in our army but many went to Israel after school. My oncologist was Jewish - an excellent one but not open to casual chat. I had two Jewish friends - one in the army and one at the company I worked.....which was owned by a Jew - extremly difficult. Be that as may there were some disapproval and many acceptances and an earthquake Iif a Jewish woman wanted to marry a gentile. I could never understand the reasons. Nonetheless I have my fathers leason is in my heart but also what we learn from the Bible and so it will be. I envy the Jewish family values & if I had the strengh and abilities in the days we were fighting a terrorist war I would have volunteered to go to Israel and help where I can. Things are difficult for me know - our contries politics, threats of genocide of all white people, rampant crime, violence and my personal financial situation in addition. I trust in the Lord but it would have been nice to have a Jewish friend now. God bless you all and protect the IDF. Shalom

I would hope that they look at others as specific individuals, and they judge each as an individual based on their specific merits and vices. Hopefully, this is the same as they do with each other. Every group has good and bad people. We are all flawed humans, and while we do not pick our parents, we do decide how we act towards others. We all know the stereotypes about each and every group, but at the end of the day, it comes down to the specific person and how they choose to act. I am not the enemy of any group, and I do not want to be the enemy of any group. The said periods of insanity in the past are hard to fathom. I would also add that if you want everyone to like you, then you need to fail at life. If you succeed, someone will always dislike you.

Rabbi thank you for this wise teaching.. it's easy to understand. I'm a Christian gentile myself and I just got to this point of topic about Esau being the grandfather of Rome. I like how you acknowledge that my God Jesus is a Jew. I know from different interviews that for a common Jew, they do not see Him as their own, claiming He is not a real Jew.. I just want to ask you rabbi, if ever you can read my comment, how the Christian's claim of Jesus as the Messiah fit into your understanding. We believe for a fact that Jesus is God in the flesh when He was conceived in the womb of a virgin who was Mary. And we also believe He was the promised Messiah prophesied in the Old Testament.. how can this connect to your culture rabbi?
    Thanks

I mean, about not necessarily trusting your neighbors in your people's case: I do agree with that assessment; or more precisely, to draw on William Shakespeare's novel "Merchant of Venice", therein the Jewish merchant would be summarized as saying that he should be thought of as allergic to the forbidden foods, but a *spiritual allergy, not a physical one*... that could help you to lay out beliefs: you *are* out to convert, but only so far as to morality, not at all to your faith, which the disciplines, to you, would be akin in say breaking them about dietary laws: to someone like myself eating something I *know* is forbidden me by my health: it is out of the picture, and any dinging on it is sinful for me to do; so it is with you and your fellow parishoners with things that your faith forbids; plus that meshes with health-wise regulations on moral law- and would actually encourage following it.
In short, in that case: you've got to be the tougher sibling in that analogy: holding your defenses, not attacking, but holding out, with the aim of converting him; yet it also does follow that you'd tend to rely on us as "trade partners" only so far as both could benefit: if not: the two men separate peacably to reunite when fortuitous for their business ventures.

I appreciate your honesty. I have questions? Who defines righteousness? Doesn't God? God is not going to allow the Covenant people to perish. Is it true that Jews believe that all Gentiles are to follow Noahhide Laws? If yes, what is the penalty for violating one of them? Please answer me. The path of light and love has already been embraced by many "gentiles." This path supercedes what man has done or does not do. For Gentiles who believe, Jesus is the only path to life eternal.

Addendum: that said, I'm the *furthest* from ever endorsing abandonment of self-mastery, but I will NEVER tolerate a relationship with any spirit at all; this's not to gain power over my neighbors, but rather the justified goal of eliminating any ability to do so; by anybody, over anybody; and since His "journal" says He is the source of man's power over man: HE IS UNJUST AS GOD- not you, your "god" Himself, due to Him siding with unjust rule even once at all.
Simply put, He may well be the ruler of eternity: but that alone, combined with His actions in recent years through the leaderships He has put in place: confirm beyond any possible doubt that any "god" is automatically a false god, due to lack of justice, and hence completely being bereft of virtue... since He has been said, in all humility, to lack that *by anybody*, He will never be permitted. Oh, I'll stand every single day, heedless of ability, against all manner of wickedness, including the most *disgusting* of all forms: sexual impurity (which may well be why Abraham had to wait till he was well-within his senior years before he had a kid: it took that long to remove the truly *lewd* nature of paganism from his mind- and he was trying to remove it no doubt! Should show you just how addictive impurity is, and how hard it is to get rid of, as well as how necessary it is to completely eradicate!), and things far *worse* that His laws mandate as well as condemn *at the same time*; simply put: any monarch is judged by his laws, and the misdeeds of his agents, especially the Ruler of Heaven- that and that alone is why while I'll forever stand against immorality: for what it does to the immoral: I shall not have anything approximating the role of a God in my life: least of all myself- I shall worship nothing therefore, by not worshipping anything, least of all the most idiotic of them all to idolize: myself- only a complete moron does that as an option: far more preferable is complete nonexistence- due to the profoundly evil nature of eternity.

The thing that God has made it is that the Jew is a light to the Nations. There was one Jew that spoke to the Nations and the Jews hate him and hate Gentiles who believe in him. Let's be honest here. There are a lot of hard feelings from both sides. The Jew is like the man and who ever believes in God knows how to love the other. It is Jew and Nations and has always been that way. We are supposed to love the other and then the ONE will be revealed to both of us.

I respect your approach to this subject, it's multifaceted, for instance the Bolshevik jews / zionists maybe, slaughtered many millions of orthodox christian/non-jewish in Russia, hardly a breath is passed in mentioning the atrocities they were made to bear including raping (gentile women, incurring no karma if you like, as they are not jewish and therefore treated as animals) and forcing cannibalism. This number of genocide was vast, biggest in history perhaps. Somewhere along the line someone has to address those who were slaughtered too, all the many soldiers in war too who fought for jewish freedom, who are gentiles, other tribes around the world, their family lines cut off as these young men perished and women captured. There are many voices in history world over that have been silenced. This truly is a mixed up human world. But it doesn't have to be. We can learn to love one another, no matter what programming or beliefs, it's a universal message of peace.

Great video! There’s no culture where everyone feels the same about everything and there are good people everywhere. A big difference between me and my ex-husband, who is Catholic is I think people are basically good. He thinks our nature is basically sinful, but to sin really means to err, or to make a mistake, not to be a bad person. Not all Catholics think that way. There are fundamentalist Jews, like there are Christians. I think this is true of most religions. I would think the majority of people in the majority of religions accept others, though we all need to work on understanding what it truly means to accept those who believe different things.

Maybe, based on what society *asks* of you; you *should* self-exclude yourself from joining society: I mean: if I'm going to ask you, post losing my morals *completely* to engage in something you *know* to be mortally sinful: you *ought* to isolate yourself from me- and that's about it for motives!

We learn through correction and pain and our own stupidity ...thats our problem...those who take gods forebarring warnings and that so to a point that they can be trusted with the task of laying down the law...and upholding it and leading people towards it...thats a completely different task...on a far distant level....laws i dont think gentiles are capable of understanding the depth and bredth of those texts...i think whatever god watches over and polices directly has a whole different responsability and a whole different heritage and uphold a far different love for the creator and the created...taken to this plane of higher understanding might bring people to distrust or hate such a people...when it is finally the truth that you cant even really look to whats been given to you because it distracts you from the nature of the giver...thats why i think they are hated so much they see stuff and money and favor...not the pain nor the suffering or the endless duty obliged onto those who seek god first...its a simple thing...its like the neighboor who hates the fruit and yet is too stupid to realise that the roots and branches and bark must freeze and crack under the cold in order to bare the fruit....they would consider the sweetness of the fruit but not the bitterness of what it was unrippened...or the surly duty of growing the roots into a hard and darkened ground....so much to reflect upon...

Dear Rabbi - I hope you read this. All gentiles are different. I am Christian. Before I was born again I didn't think anything about Jews - I didn't know any and didn't think about them. But when I was born again, the first thing God caused me to know was that HIs Word (the Bible) is true. But one of the next things He showed me (not through the church - He showed me Himself) was His great enduring Love for Israel and the Jewish people. Since then, I myself have felt that love which has not changed over the last 27 years. The Bible fully explains the reason for anti-Semitism so in one way I am not surprised about what happened since October. Nevertheless, I am totally in shock and heart-broken to see in my lifetime the insane deception and hatred towards Jews which is demonic (by the way, the same people also hate real, Bible-believing Christians). The veil has been taken away and now we see who we are living with. The world will never be the same again - we are moving towards something (all in the Bible). All the Born-Again Christians I know feel the same as me. And I have heard multiple testimonies of ex-Muslims who say they used to hate Jews but when they became Christians they started to love them. The trouble is that there are many types of people who call themselves Christian - but many are not. But those who have this from Ezekiel 36:26: "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh." - those to whom that has happened - love the Jews. That's how much your God loves you.

    Chuckle chuckle.
Okay, before I watch this video, let me say that it seems a little silly to think that every member of one particular group of people would have identical thoughts about every member of another group of people.
    Like:
.What do whites think of blacks?
.What do Protestants think of Catholics?
. What do Chinese think of Cubans?
.What do German Shepherds think of Dashunds?
Hubby's Puerto Rican, I'm Northern European.
?Do all Puerto Ricans think the same about Northern Europeans?
    I think not.
So now I'm going to bring up this video on my large screen TV.
I guarantee you that larger than life Rabbi Simon Jacobson is going to show me my misconceptions, my faulty thinking, and will straighten out misaligned brain waves that I've ignored my entire life.
Go ahead Rabbi Simon Jacobson, expand my awarenesses, make me smarter.
And, I thank you in advance for doing me a large one.
    I'm in.

is lending to be considered tzedakah? than Jews only forbidden from usury in dealing with fellow Jews, although not exclusively in case of brothers or sisters that have been with you seven years, join and walk in your ways. why not be more open to Financial Freedom with impartiality when lending. why not see them as Jewish if its under one God? im not saying give away money either. I'm saying wise investments that the gain is ultimately better for the serving God or the purpose of the community or people. i understand following Gods law regardless but i see this at a point as what other see as a problem. join or we wont work with you and give you access to any of the wealth we have gotten in any form. its the very same thing all people tend to due but we should strive to function with impartiality as much as humanly possible.

    Ah-hah.
"Overall", "exceptions", "traditional observant Jews", now we're going where I fit in.
Already I'm feeling more oneness with humanity.
Now there's a very good chance that I won't end this video wanting to undo myself from the living.
I very much understand people talking derogatorily.
Father told me, "don't pay much attention to what people say, pay much attention to what people do".
On the other hand, mother was loaded with incredible hatred.
Venom dripped out of every pore in her body, especially her mouth, when she talked about Italians, Yugoslavians, Germans, Blacks, Puerto Ricans, Jews, actually every group of people on this planet.
In retrospect, early in my youth I probably identified hatred, for the most part, as being basically nonsensical.
Here at 12:12/46:34, my mind delves into disturbing thoughts about the world's repulsive injustices snd horrifics.
Hubby's soon going to come in to sleep, and I will continue this video tomorrow.
Even though this video is making me uncomfortable, I want, I need, to make sure I have have not missed out on available truths, information and awareness.
May everyone everywhere soon live in peace, with kindness, compassion, and without hunger or need.
    So be it, and soon.
Goodnight and pleasant dreams to all.

The beauty of Judeo-Christianity is breathtaking. It's pure gold. In Orthodox Christianity, the walls of Jews and Gentiles are no more. Why?. Our Lord, Redeemer and King came and lived among us. Moreover, suffered, died and rose again. He presently seated at the Right Hand of the Most High God the Father. For those who acknowledge YESHUA HAMASHIACH, they're eternal life in Him. Amen.

I think some Jewish people discriminate because they had a Jewish community center close to were I lived and they had a swimming pool. Me being a kid like all kids loved swimming. But they had a big sign with a finger pointing saying all gentiles stay out. My point is Gentiles aren't the only ones who discriminate

This is true. The JCC in our area was for Jews only, until about 1994. It was to preserve the small community, but even as a kid, I felt that exclusion was wrong.

The history of Israel is replete with war and fighting. Ancient Israel fought to take possession of the Promised Land. God promised that Israel would prevail over their enemies if they obeyed His instructions, but, if they disobeyed, they would be defeated and be a source of trouble among the nations (Deuteronomy 28:1-2, 7, 15, 25). The Bible also foretold that Jerusalem would be “a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples” (Zechariah 12:2), and “a very heavy stone for all peoples”.
Peace in Jerusalem appears to be impossible until, Lord Jesus the Christ returns and makes it His capital city! King David’s admonition written thousands of years ago remains painfully relevant today: “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem” (Psalm 122:6).
