Wow! I never knew that!
Those were actually the dubber actors!?
@@WindiChilliwack Yep,they are.
@@lamejorversiondeti.6283Thats so cool!
SomeSortofWeeb
No, they’re not... putting aside that the movie came out in Japan just before the series started airing here (literally the day before, in fact), they don’t even look like the actors beyond “black guy, white lady, white guy”
Cowboy bebop is the best space western ever.
Firefly & Serenity are quite good too :)
IMHO best noire, not western
Cowboy Bebop is solid second place after firefly
I love this opening sequence, the animation is so smooth and I love the shots of people's lives.
Why isn’t it like that throughout? Say like Don Bluth’s “Anastasia”.
cowboy bebop's animation always amazes me
Cowboy Bebop never gets old. And it never will ^_^.
This was actually my favorite part of the movie.
Oh, really? XD
Me too! XD
This series just exudes cool.
I always loved the series because it just feels like it could actually be our future.
This is actually the first time i hear the Original Japanese voice acting... and after watching the whole Series + Movie... with the Japanese Voices it's like hes not even Spike Spiegel...
Yeah, Steve Blum was born to play Spike
really? i like the sub better than the dub Idk I’m more use to the sub the dub feels a bit awkward
i never watch any dubs and i always vomit when i hear one. people should always watch the original first. the Japanese voice actors are so good, the dubs always sound like the english actor are on XANAX and depressed.
Koichi Yamadera is a grade A voice actor. So is Unsho Ishizuka, Megumi Hayashibara, and the legendary Norio Wakamoto. The only reason I could even think that people don't like the Japanese cast is because they don't want to like subs or they like the dub because of nostalgia. The dub is nostalgic to me, but subs are always better to me, even if I grew up on the dub. Same for Dragon Ball and whatever else I watched or played as a kid like Sonic, etc.
@@IconicMicrowave what about when the director himself says the dub is better
Still one of the coolest animated movie intros I've ever seen.
I love watching cowboy bebop and hearing their awesome music
Love this song, opening, movie and series. One of the best of all time.
somebody showed me this before I knew the movie had come out just it was the opening where the song Started, and I just kept thinking this f****** music sounds so goddamn familiar. And the art style is like really familiar. And I saw Spike shoes and I just f****** lost my mind
I can't believe I haven't rewatched this.
just beautiful
it is said that the Japanese audience actually prefers the english dub of this movie.
Imcluding Shinichiro Watanabe and Yoko Kanno.
I loved the movie but I could never get over the fact that Spike is drawn in such a way that he can't fit his feet through his pants.
Is that Groucho Marx at 01:38?
Late 90's New York.
More like early 2070's, Alba City, Mars.
maneatingcheeze Still based of late 90's New York but nice try,
Cowboy Bebop is a "poor" future, so there is no utopian architecture and excessive technology. Even starships have to park on concrete and paint.
I don't know if this is the case, but I think the intro is suppose to show a city on Mars
+Zachery Rancano it is. they are on mars
Can anyone find the exact scene where spike sleeps with Julia on the bed and u see her lying down with blood on the bed and spike standing up looking out the window with his yellow shirt and cig in his mouth
Its because of Cowboy Bebop that i started listening to the blues and jazz
I like that part: 1:33-1:35
So do I 😂
That's actually Steve Blum, the one who voices Spike. In case you didn't know ;)
I feel that way about 1:39
Who the fuck watches Cowboy Bebop in japanese?
japanese? people who watched it first in japanese and got attached to the voice related to the characters? It's not a big deal, is it?
Bruno Lacasse-Champagne the English dub of bebop is widely known as being better than the Japanese, and also characterized sometimes as the best dub of any anime ever, regardless of language even. Kinda a big deal
***** Why?
***** You can enjoy the original more. But, I don't know why you would "hate" the dub.
"Tadama shooocking kasimasa."
Best one liner EVER! ^^
Best animation movie ever.
i never watch any dubs and i always vomit when i hear one. people should always watch the original first. the Japanese voice actors are so good, the dubs always sound like the english actor are on XANAX and depressed.
Finally i've found it with the blue backgrounds! Thank's!
love so much!!! See you space, cowboy.
Ask ya mom
omg you're so kawaii desu desu i like japanese voice over english.
fucks sake you guys should learn to respect the opinions of others and face the fact. Some animes have a better dub.
Yeah, Cowboy Bebop is one of those shows where a Japanese guy just doesn't fit Spike. He's a fucking space cowboy.
No, but Nihongo yes...
Love this retro song
this is the first time i have ever heard spike's voice in Japanese and man did i fucken laugh my ass off
日本版なのにコメントに日本人がいねーなw
それなw
I like spike action moves.. just like bruce lee jit kundo I see his profile. The best space action for me :)
Jeet kune do*
Ohhh... great comeback. How long did it take you to come up with that one?
Best fucking thing ever
English version is better for me because I like dubbed anime (Haters need to stop speaking English). Song is awesome. And all anime needs to go back to this art style when everything was done by hand. End of story. Wrap it. Ship it.
No.
yup it is
tuolla on jussipaita päällä
For me Cowboy Bepop will always be better in japanese, that's how a I listened to spike from the very begining. Gringos locos° not evertything has to be in english, do you watch akira kurosawa's movies in english too?
I 100% agree with you. Ever see End of Evangelion's ending in English:
ruclips.net/video/_q-QtjGRv54/видео.html
then you have the Japanese version which conveys emotion and proper character reaction: ruclips.net/video/-3Uge0DljYA/видео.html
Yes! I finally found someone who thinks the sub is better!
That's your own opinion, but even director Shinichiro Watanabe, composer Yoko Kanno, and the majority of Japanese fans say the dub is superior. It's better for many reasons, including time and creative freedom.
@@stheteller7470 and that's your own opinion. japanese dub is better for me because I like it more.
K.
Interesting, I did the same thing... with the English voice. Actually I didn't laugh my ass off... I PUKED my guts out in disgust.
