Before & After of Outdoor Studio | Materials & Processes

The ‘Outdoor Studio’ is the creation of foundation year students of Visual Studies Department, University of Karachi.
What was once home to wild plants, gravel. garbage, and an open sewage is now 1200 sq. yards of a beautiful, rustic Outdoor Materials & Processes Studio!
From creating benches out of recycled wood (wooden pellets), working with sustainable materials, gravel landscaping and tireless cleaning sessions, the transformation required loads of physical effort and creative energy on part of students. This strenuous exercise helped them explore various materials and learn real time skills.
