Damn, this is by far the only channel that I like watching EDH gameplays. Just pure magic, no nonsense rambling (which is nice among friends, but gets tiresome after a while), balanced average power decks, and very cool chill out narration and soundtrack....amazing work, love ya!
This is the advantage of narrated gameplay. Affinity for Commander, Playing with Power MtG and SplitSecond also have narrated gameplay, which I prefer, though the latter two are cEDH-oriented.
Between -seeing people bring back favourite decks and show individual playstyles instead of e v e r y w e e k being a trendy new commander we'll never see again, and -art choices for basics / printing choices for cards where multiple printings are available / altersleeves (looking at mistfrom) I feel like I get more genuine personality out of Mudstah's crew despite having never seen anyone's face
I am building a Coram deck myself at the moment. Or a Ziatora deck, i haven't decided yet who will be the commander, but i am running all the cool stuff Jund has to offer for attackpower matters, like the new Gitrog, Zilortha, Greven Preator Captain, Skullspore Nexus, Zopandrel, Railway Brawler, Great Henge, Selvala ... it will be glorious either way.
@@SamySapphyre I am on the modular deck plan where i can swap some cards to turn one into the other on the fly, so that i can have both without needing to fully built both. I would have build both, but i am also building a Disa the Restless and already own a Vaevictis Asmadi the Dire, and a Lord Windgrace deck 😀 so i am very Jund heavy allready.
I absolutely love Coram! He has since become a favourite of mine that I play very often. My version of the deck turned into a Necrotic Ooze deck, since a lot of the creatures in my decklist have activated abilities like Lord of the Forsaken, Jarad Golgari Lich Lord, Doom Whisperer and Ruthless Technomancer! Speaking of Ruthless Technomancer, that is one card I totally recommend in Coram! Being able to sacrifice Coram for a ton of treasures, and then you can easily return him from the graveyard with the Ruthless Technomancer's ability for 3 mana and 1 treasure (since x can't be 0); it's an absolute homerun in the 99! Looking forward to more Coram gameplay from you, Muddstah!
For my Coram deck, I've built it around flinging him. Having big creatures in the grave and flinging him for value. I use stuff like Ziatora and Rakdos joins us.
I like coram missing trample. IMO they tend to create commanders that are too easy and bring everything they need. With coram, you need to build with the trample missing in mind. Also i like his mill-ability, bringing a bit variety, as you can play some of your opponents cards for your benefit once in a while
i also like that ur commander doesnt have to be voltron and can be a graveyard value deck. so when u see him with other players u know the build can be dif each time
Coram is such a fun commander! Im playing mine as a lands matter deck where i try to make at least 4 valakuts in a game and then try to shoot everyone with it for game :D
Coram is on my to build some day commander, fun to see it being played. Want to see his final ability get some fun use, have mana open and attack then play other peoples lands and hopefully value cards, if not play your own value cards.
As someone who plays coram he doesnt need combat ability lmfao. He’s meant to be a jund graveyard pile deck who can beat face if necessary but there are always work arounds like brawn/filth if you have urborg in the deck to give all your opponents swamps for filth. Terror the peaks is also a really good include bc when coram resovles or etbs at all he’s more than likely about 10 power and at best scenario 18 from yargle and multani so you can basically half someones hp or take a third of it with terror. Fling effects also work if you have a reanimation package and is smooth as butter with terror. Fling coram, reanimate him with a terror, maybe have an anger in your yard then swing is really strong.
Andrew u failed some land drops this game , idk if u dint had lands in hand but u still have the coram ability. You milled some lands from your oponents and Coram lets u play from their graveyard too
With Coram you should be playing buried alive. With one card you can put filth, anger and brawn in the yard. That or just grab a big creature instead of filth or brawn.
@tokisakikurumi4134 Is right about Skrelv (Skrel'lev?) not being able to block, which stopped a TON of damage getting through and giving him the win by not dying to toymaker trigger or sooner. Edit: NOOOOOO, the Havi list is the only one not in the disc!
@@DarkEinherjar Also it's Assassin's Creed. Part of how at least I cope with the deluge of new cards is straight-up ignoring any and all Universes Beyond releases, to reduce the amount of things I have to pay attention to. I wouldn't be surprised if other people react similarly, especially when it comes to settings they don't particularly care about. This would drastically reduce the potential audience for any UB commanders, meaning that they'd need much more of that potential audience to be an actual audience in order to be remotely popular or expensive.

Skrelv cant block when Max was attacked at 5:00

that inkshield ranger captain interaction was rly cool
Thank you! I felt pretty clever when I did it ;)
That Inkshield play from Arca was pretty slick.
Thanks! Inkshield is one my fav cards for this reason :)
As always thank you for having us! That was a great game and fun to play! I'm glad Mat got to play toymaker, you know he loves his piles.
That Havi deck looks interesting. I would love if he makes a reappearance that the decklist could also be posted.
Besides being magic's best two-color pair, Breena is also, mechanically, always a delight to see!

No havi decklist?
someones gotta tell arca that sol ring in the land zone is a criminal offense x~x
It's a warning for a first-time offense.
Lands in front, on the other hand . . .
2:55 why did Mathieu randomly lose 1 life? did you do that just so Breena would do something?
Breena! My girl! One of my favorite commanders.
Saffi got a glow up lol
I see Saffi in a game, even if she's not the commander, I like.
I want to see that Havi list... 😕
Im surprised Havi isnt a more popular commander or more expensive. He is(at last look) like 30 cents.
Being restricted to only legendary creatures kinda hurts him, as does the 6 MV and not having black in a reanimator-centric deck.
