One of AURORA's standout compositions! This is the song that originally caught my attention and introduced me to AURORA! She has just released a new album -- definitely check it out!

    The whispering in the bridge:
In a place where nothing matters
    dancing around a shooting star
    And every cell remembers
What have taken us this far
I see images of killer whales sleeping in a desert trail
Dreaming of a parallel world where nothing ever hurts
Dreaming of a parallel world where nothing ever hurts
    Poetry on a high level!

    Great in depth analysis, Cecilia.
I don't normally post my feelings on the matter being portrayed in this song, because I don't really like my own views tbh. They will by many be conceived as grim and dim, call it what you want, but I can't help but think that the only salvation for our Earth, is humankind's demise. We simply can't co-exist. We have proven that to a point beyond discussion IMO.
So there you have it. I hope that I am wrong, and any views that can help me understand that I am would be greatly appreciated. (And no, I'm not depressed, I have just come to accept how things are, and I'm quite sure nature has it's own way of dealing with it's problems. I think we can already see precursors of this.)
    Love from Norway :-)

I've come to that too. We are virus on this earth. We have people who fights against our destruction, but most people are busy with shopping and throwing stuff away. Unless they are poor and die of hunger, something the rich part of the world overlook.
Money rules the world. And money doesn't care about anything else.
I hope I'm wrong too. But this song did not become the anthem of the world (it should have), Greta did not move the politicians in UN (she should have).
Oh, btw, can you do a piece on Montserrat and Freddie, Cecilia? She was a wonderful singer. He was divine. Together they were heavenly.

You're not alone on that point of view, but who will accepte if I say stop making children! Human kind is the only probleme for the planet, tell me about evolution! I'm not depress either, probably not the best optimistic, but I know that the planet will live way longuer then us, I'm just worry that we'll have destoyed so many other speacies befor a real final virus get ride of us... Peace and be safe.

I have a slightly different insight, although I completely understand and empathize where this is coming from, and deeply respect the other insights in the responses to this comment. While I do not deny that in many ways our species has harmed the planet, and that there are many in power filled with greed that are making the problem worse, I believe that Aurora and other artists/people focused on this cause embody something fundamentally beautiful about human beings: we are natural creatures too, when we allow ourselves to embody our true nature. I believe that we were meant to live deeply in harmony with the rest of the planet just like all other animal species, but many got lost and desired to dominate the planet instead of respectfully live in harmony with it, I dont think were meant to dominate the planet, but many have interpreted our relationship to earth like that and therefore humans very existence becomes a weapon used against the rest of the world. Many have become hard and apathetic to the rest of the world, when our true happiness lies in softness. I think that if the collective majority can become reunited with their connection to earth, we can return to living in harmony with it. This being said, it can be very discouraging and saddening to see so many so blind to how much their connection to the planet has become broken, and how hard hearted they have become. I have hope though, my hope lies in the artists and the soft people of the world, that is why I love Aurora so much, her strength comes from her softness. I have a strong sense of purpose in embodying these qualities myself as an artist, and also promoting and encouraging those to listen to people like her who have such an important message. Her battle cry here comes from her deep empathy for nature and life. Artists like her, and getting to be an artist myself, gives me hope. I hope that makes sense and sheds some light on my views, while not invalidating yours (which are completely understandable). Much love and thank you for being apart of our community and sharing your valuable insights!

@@musiccecilia7754 Thanks a lot for this lengthy answer👍 And also thanks for not disrespecting my view. Evolution (God?) should have stopped the development of the human brain a long time ago. Now we are a species thinking that we're superior to all other species, in that we are far more intelligent. And to some extent, we ARE more intelligent. But when you REALLY think about it, is what human kind does to itself and its planet a sign of high intelligence? In that respect I'd say we rank way below ANY other species. We humans have a lot of great attributes, but the"intelligence" has to go. But it won't. Evolution prevents that from happening. So the carriers of that intelligence also needs to go, in order to save the rest of the planet. It's sad.
      Take care🙂

Really great reaction of this amazing song ❤️
You see what many people miss, for example when she moves like the Jellyfish, I get goosebumps every time.

Your video has brought a whole new level of appreciation for this video for me. I just never noticed that link that her movements are mimicking the plants. I suppose the stuff around her makes sense with that understanding too, the dead flowers in front of her as if she's growing among them, a red sun behind her as if it's struggling to give light. I love the chest banging parts specifically, it feels so primal like she's standing her ground against the odds. Anyway, awesome video, i'm going to watch it very differently in future now your insight has revealed something new for me to enjoy from it. Thank you!

Thank you. I enjoyed your insight. DId you mention the set? Another reviewer pointed out it clearly shows she is in a drab gray soundstage yet performing on a rotating base with red and blue color. Maybe to point out the stark diff between reality and indifference or the contrast of the colorful world we might loose? I hope you do more on AURORA's brand new album, 'The Gods We can Touch', her homage to Greek mythology and how we as humans are dealing with being human....Full of symbolism and how org. religion has made humans feel shame before a perfect out of our touch God. Finneas and Bjork, now AURORA! Love to see u react to Billie EIlish too!!

Yep those artists you listed there are my tastes in contemporary music in a nutshell! I like a wide range of music though, a Billie video is certainly coming soon, there is a lot I admire about her as an artist! I love the insight about the set, I think that for sure would make sense. I am a huge Aurora fan so there for sure will be more content about her coming in the future, especially regarding the new album. I think perhaps the set could symbolize something similar to what she did in the "giving into the love" music video, where she was the character bringing the statues back to life, here Aurora is standing on the platform of all that beautiful and colorful in this world, and she's calling us to come out of the grey and join her.

7 minute's to get your propaganda rough. Then you interup. Waste. Boring and preaching when you have no stand and built none. Thx for jumping on the band wagon with no actual personal attachment to this. Reaching much.
